The Dance Studio, located in Bonners Ferry, Idaho began in 1978 teaching dance to youth ages 3 years to adults. Teacher and owner, Barbara Russell was trained in classical ballet from the age of five in Philadelphia, Pa at the schools of Ballet des Jeunes, school of the Pa. Academy of Ballet and University of Utah. Dance training includes modern, contemporary and jazz techinique at the Univ of Uta

h & school of the Repertory Dance Theater in SLC, the Broadway Dance Center in NYC and Bill Evans Dance intensive. The Dance Studio classes incorporate dance technique and choreography into each class. The school year ends with a spring production showcasing each student in an end of the year show.
