We are searching for two additional members to add to our Bonner staff.

Update- Lead position filled-

The second position is a part time teacher’s assistant position, 20-25 hours a weeks, with possibly of additional hours as a substitute and during the summer.

Both positions require lifting children up to 50 lbs, and ability to change diapers. The ideal candidates should be calm, loving and patient, reliable and have strong work ethic and reliable transportation.

Discovery Childcare Bonner has immediate space for one infant under 12 months, two infant/waddlers age 12-24 months, and one space for a 2-5 year old.

Beginning April 1st we will be enrolling for after school care with pick from Bonner Elementary, for a limited number of children ages 4-7 years old, as well as registration for limited summer program spaces and when school is out. More information to be announced.

Discovery Childcare in Bonner is searching for an
additional staff member , either an aid or lead teacher staff member. We are also looking for an experienced Preschool teacher. Wage depends of experience and education in Early childhood. Must be available to work between 8am- 430 pm, as schedules sometimes vary . We pay training and provide full time staff paid holidays, and vacation time.

SNOW CLOSURE DAY- TUESDAY Feb 4th

Good morning,

Bonner has a severe weather warning, snowing and windy conditions. I am concerned with the lack of visibility on the highways allowing staff in Missoula to get into the Center, as well as families to travel safely into Bonner.. Some families have already mentioned staying home today to avoid the drive in.

For everyone’s safety I feel is best to have a SNOW CLOSURE DAY today. . We apologize if this is an inconvenience, however we must ensure safety of staff and families.

Dear Parents,

Please be advised that Northwestern Energy has put out a notice that, due to extreme weather conditions, there is the possibility of a Public Safety Power Shutoff Plan, effective starting tomorrow. They would shut down the power grid in areas of extreme weather conditions due to high temperatures and wind gusts.

It was announced on their website they would alert us prior to a shut off. It is most likely not going to affect our area, however that can easily change due to unstable weather conditions. In the event we are alerted or lose power, we will contact all families via class dojo/and or phone call. We could not safely operate and provide care for children in the event of a power outage, and therefore would close for the remainder of the day power is out.

We will have one full time infant over 5 months old space available beginning July 15th as well as one full time waddler (16-20 months) beginning August 1st. Possible preschool space might occur this summer, and we will have 2-3 preschool places available for age 2/3 beginning in end of august or first part of September.
