🐾❤️ Celebrating National Dog Day with Clifford! ❤️🐾

We had a very special visit today from Misty with the Desloge Public Library in celebration of National Dog Day! 🐶📚

Misty read Clifford the Big Red Dog to our participants, and we even had a surprise visit from Clifford himself! ❤️🐾 Everyone had the opportunity to visit with Clifford and take pictures with him, which made the day extra special!

A big thank you to Misty and the Desloge Public Library for continuing to visit our center and bring such fun, engaging activities for our participants. We truly appreciate the time and effort you put into making these visits so enjoyable! ❤️

✈️ Celebrating National Aviation Day! ✈️

Yesterday, we had a wonderful visit from Misty with the Desloge Public Library in celebration of National Aviation Day! 📚✈️

Misty read an aviation-themed book with our participants and followed it up with a fun airplane craft. Everyone also received a little airplane of their own to take home! 🛩️

We always enjoy Misty’s visits and appreciate the time, creativity, and fun she brings to our participants at A1 Adult Habilitation Center. Thank you, Misty and Desloge Public Library, for helping us celebrate and making the day extra special! 💙

We may be a little late posting, but we couldn’t let National Root Beer Float Day pass without sharing some of our pictures! 📸❤️

Our participants enjoyed celebrating with delicious, ice-cold root beer floats! Sometimes the simplest treats make for the sweetest memories. 🥤🍨 Everyone enjoyed a refreshing afternoon treat and some time together.

🍕 MAKE YOUR OWN PIZZA DAY! 🍕

Today was all about getting creative in the kitchen! Our participants enjoyed Make Your Own Pizza Day, choosing their favorite toppings and creating their very own personal pizzas. 🍕👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

Activities like this are not only fun—they also give our participants the opportunity to practice independence, decision-making, and daily living skills. And of course, the best part was getting to enjoy their delicious creations! 😋❤️

⚡ UPDATE: POWER RESTORATION ⚡

We have been notified that power is expected to be restored around 5:00 PM today.

A1 Adult Day Habilitation Center will resume normal business hours tomorrow.

Thank you to all of our participants, families, caregivers, and staff for your patience and understanding during today’s unexpected closure. We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow! 💙
