🍎September is almost here, and we have a lot to look forward to!

Along with all of the learning happening in our classrooms, we have several special activities planned for our students throughout the month.

📸Picture Day - Get those smiles ready! School Picture Day is this coming Monday!

🎉PBIS Reward Party - We'll celebrate students who are meeting our schoolwide expectations with a PBIS Reward Party on the first Friday of each month. We're kicking things off in September with INFLATABLES in the gym! We can't wait to see our students have some fun while celebrating their great choices!

🛒Depot Week - Our students have been working hard to earn Kids Cash by following our building expectations. During Depot Week, they'll have the opportunity to cash it in for some fun prizes! Keep making those great choices and saving that Kids Cash!

September is going to be a great month! We love having opportunities to recognize our students, celebrate their hard work, and make school a place they are excited to be each day!💙💛

Just a reminder for all home athletic events:

No student drop-offs are permitted.

Middle school and elementary-aged students must be accompanied by an adult in order to enter the facility. An adult is considered anyone 21 years of age or older.

Thank you for your cooperation in helping us maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all spectators!

NCP families,

Thank you for your patience and understanding today during dismissal. As some of you may have experienced, dismissal was delayed this afternoon. After investigation, it was concluded that a student accidentally pulled the fire alarm in the building. Out of an abundance of caution, we practiced our emergency evacuation protocol, ensured that every student and staff member was safe and accounted for, and that the building was cleared prior to reentry into the building and continuing daily dismissal procedures.

Since this alarm went off during the beginning of our dismissal, some of our A Run bus students were not able to go back into the building to gather their belongings prior to loading the bus. All belongings will be kept safe in the building over night and will be ready for students tomorrow morning.

As always, our priority is to get every student home safely. Thanks to the quick action of our staff and students, we were able to do just that! We appreciate your patience and understanding today. We are looking forward to a great school year at NCP!

Your students have been learning all about PBIS the past two days and reviewing building wide expectations and procedures.

Some of you may have never heard about PBIS, so we are providing a quick flier to reference. We are excited to continue implementing this in our building, and throughout the North County School District! (There is more information in the NCP Student Handbook.)

We can't wait to see all of those bright and shining faces in the morning for our kickoff to the '26-'27 school year! It will be such a great year of learning! 🥳

🚨Summer Parent Pick-Up Info🚨

Parents/Guardians,

If your child is going to be a parent pick-up student during summer school, you will need to walk up to the back cafeteria door to pick up your child. Please make sure to have your parent pick-up hang tag with you. If you do not have a parent pick-up hang tag, please stop by the office.

Our first day of summer school is Tuesday, May 26th. Students may be dropped off on campus beginning at 7:30 a.m.
