We invite our students and families to help us create our Wall of Heroes by sending in a photo of a family member who has served or is currently serving in the United States military. ❤️🤍💙

Please send photos to school by October 30 and include the hero’s name, branch of service, and rank if possible.

We can’t wait to celebrate and honor the brave men and women who have served—and continue to serve—our country! 🇺🇸

September’s character trait is RESPONSIBILITY, and we are excited to recognize two staff members who consistently go above and beyond to support our students and staff!

Each month, staff nominate their peers for Raider Royalty, with one certified and one classified staff member selected. 👑

💙 Mr. Mullins — Certified Staff Raider Royalty
As our librarian, Mr. Mullins does so much more than care for our library! He is always willing to jump in wherever he is needed—from the classroom, to the lunchroom, to the library. He is always ready to support teachers and students, and he does it all with a smile on his face! His willingness to help and serve others truly represents Responsibility in action.

💛 Ms. Mariah — Classified Staff Raider Royalty
As our behavior para in the Reset Room, Ms. Mariah is constantly on the move, helping students and supporting our staff wherever she is needed. She can be found up and down the halls, jumping in to help and making a difference wherever she goes. She has been such a wonderful addition to our building, and we are so thankful for all she does for our Raiders! 💛

📚💙 Another staff shout out for today-Celebrating Our Title Reading Teachers! 💛📚

Our Title Reading teachers are doing incredible work every single day to help our students become stronger, more confident readers!

They meet students where they are, provide targeted support, celebrate their progress, and help build the skills and confidence they need to become successful readers. They work tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure our students are getting the extra support they need to grow and thrive.

What makes them so special is the way they celebrate every little victory—because they know that for a young reader, one new sound, one new word, one successfully read sentence, or one moment of confidence can be a BIG deal!

Thank you to our amazing Title Reading team for your patience, dedication, expertise, and, most importantly, your heart for kids. You are helping build readers and, in turn, opening doors to a lifetime of learning.

💙💛 Today, we’re shining the spotlight on a truly incredible group of educators—our Special Education Team and Speech Therapists💙💛

You will be hard-pressed to find a group of educators who care more deeply about their students. These teachers and staff members show up every single day with one thing at the heart of everything they do: what is best for kids.

Our Special Education Team works incredibly hard to make sure every student feels valued, supported, included, and capable. They see the strengths in every child, celebrate their successes, advocate for their needs, and never stop looking for ways to help them grow.

They have a remarkable ability to create an environment where every student belongs. They help remove barriers, find solutions, provide support, and make sure our students have the opportunity to participate, learn, and thrive alongside their peers.

What makes this team so special is the heart behind the work. Their decisions are grounded in their students’ needs, their advocacy is unwavering, and their commitment to helping every child reach their potential is evident in everything they do.
