Kimberly is a passionate educator, curriculum developer, and outdoor immersion specialist with over 20 years of teaching experience, including a decade as a 1st-grade classroom teacher.

She holds an M.S. in Biology Education from SUNY Stony Brook and a B.A. in Childhood Education from SUNY Cortland, alongside certification as a Forest Kindergarten Teacher. Over her career, she taught for four years at Francis Parker School and founded Dilly-Dally in Nature in South San Diego.

Her work integrates scientific inquiry with hands-on, play-based, and Waldorf-inspired learning—weaving together farm and outdoor connection, horseback riding lessons, experiential math, and holistic rhythms to nurture curiosity, confidence, and ecological literacy. Beyond the classroom, her expertise spans place-based pedagogy, alternative education, and an interest in animal-assisted learning.
