A nature walk turned into a world of discovery.
Our toddlers ventured outdoors to collect little treasures from nature—leaves, sticks, rocks, flowers, and other interesting finds. Back on the classroom patio, their collections became loose parts for exploration, inviting our young learners to touch, sort, arrange, compare, and closely observe each piece.

When we give children the time and space to investigate the ordinary, they show us just how extraordinary it can become.

Happy babies, happy hearts! 🤍

Our littlest learners are spending their days surrounded by love, connection, and plenty of opportunities to explore. From sweet smiles and tiny giggles to curious discoveries, these everyday moments are where some of the biggest learning begins.

At Palms, even our tiniest learners are busy building relationships, discovering their world, and finding joy in every day.

Splash Day was extra fun… with a few extra splashes along the way!

Our school-age friends had a blast assembling, decorating, and flying their very own kites.

Using a kite kit, children carefully put together each piece before adding their own creative touches to make it uniquely theirs. Once their kites were complete, it was time to head outside and see if they could catch the wind!

As they ran across the playground, children experienced the excitement of watching their hard work take flight while naturally exploring concepts like wind, movement, and balance. Activities like this encourage creativity, perseverance, following directions, and plenty of outdoor fun.

There's something magical about a kite soaring through the sky—and even more magical when you built it yourself.

Happy International Mud Day!

Children all around the world are celebrating the simple joy of mud—splashing, squishing, mixing, creating, and embracing the magic of getting wonderfully messy. At Palms, we know that some of childhood’s most meaningful moments happen with muddy hands, muddy clothes, and big smiles.

So. Much. Mud.

Messy sensory nature play is about so much more than getting dirty. Mud play encourages creativity, problem-solving, scientific thinking, and imaginative exploration while supporting fine motor development and helping children connect with the natural world through all of their senses. Most importantly, it gives children the freedom to experience the joy found in the little things.

Here’s to muddy boots, muddy hands, and memories that will last a lifetime!
