This episode centered around the events of a 2014 active shooter event in Moncton, Alberta where for over 28 hours, shooter Justin Bourque roamed free in a residential neighborhood during which time he systematically hunted and killed three RCMP Constables and wounded two others. Highlighted in this episode is the active shooter response and 'Immediate Action/Rapid Deployment' training methodologies currently taught to American law enforcement, as well as the .223/5.56 patrol rifle, both of which the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and a number of Provincial police departments have been reluctant and slow to provide to their Constables and Officers.
