We are honored to have been recognized by the City of Bonita Springs for qualifying for the 2026 AAU Taekwondo National Championships! 🥋🏅

At the June 17 council meeting, City Council presented the Oak Creek Charter school Taekwondo Team with a Certificate of Recognition for advancing to the AAU Taekwondo National championship.

❤️💛💚 Today, we celebrate Juneteenth — a day that marks the end of slavery in the United States and honors freedom, resilience, culture, and progress.

Juneteenth commemorates June 19, 1865, when enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas were finally informed of their freedom — more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed. It serves as an important reminder of our nation’s history and the ongoing pursuit of equality and justice for all.

Take time today to learn, reflect, celebrate, and uplift the voices and contributions that continue to shape our communities and our future. ✨🖤
