Hello W.H.O.and GREENFIELD GIVES!
We had a wonderful visit with the S.P.C.A.! We are just so proud of how much our animal lovers knew about animals and how kind everyone was!
We began partnering with Watkins Helpers Organization and our wonderful artists created over 200 placemats for The Giving Heart Thanksgiving Feast offered for families in need.
From there we really got going and collected 275 pairs of pajamas which helped to pack almost 300 bags for RVA Comfort Cases supporting foster children!!
After the holidays we assembled 50 gift bags for seniors full of love with The Giving Heart for Valentine’s Day! 💗💗💗
The coziest event followed where we handmade 150 fleece blankets for Childlife at VCU where they share comfort blankets with kids admitted to the children’s hospital.
And last we enjoyed learning about animals at Richmond SPCA! Where a lot of friends got the volunteer bug and may be branching out to volunteer more!
You should all be very proud of yourselves and your families. Their impact has been felt by hundreds of friends in need and it has meant so much to so many.
See you next year for another exciting year of giving!
Gratefully Yours,
Kristen Beazley
P.s. Please pass this on to anyone else that participated! (Or may be interested in participating next year!) Our email list is comprised of those who entered emails at the meetings, so if you forgot to then, let us know for next year

Apologies for the delay in this post.
Hello!
Our last Greenfield Gives meeting will be a “field trip” to the Richmond SPCA! In this educational tour they will teach the kids a little about what the SPCA does and about animal adoption and animal needs! Last year they brought a sweet dog out for the kids to pet and then we toured the facility. Once the program is over you are free to continue to hang out and give some other animals some love! This is a link to their page
https://www.richmondspca.org/
And to donation info if you are interested
https://www.richmondspca.org/wishlist
This is a very sweet program and if you haven’t visited the facility, it really is beautiful. And the animals are so well cared for. They also have volunteer opportunities for kids as young as 7 with a parent so you may find that your future veterinarian would be interested!
Greenfield Gives and W.H.O. (Watkins Helpers Organization) families will be visiting April 28th at 2p. Right now there are 12 slots still available. Please rsvp to [email protected] by Wednesday the 25th with number of children attending if you would like to join us!
Thank you and let us know if you have any questions!
