BCS will once again provide all the school supplies your child needs to be successful in classes. We will NOT be asking parents to purchase any school supplies. Students will still need their own backpacks, but supplies that they need for class will be provided.

Bolton Central School will provide all required school supplies for every student from Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade! This will ensure all students have the materials to support their learning throughout the year. By taking this off our families’ to-do list, we hope to make the back-to-school season a little less stressful!

Everyone is working hard to get everything ready to start our new school year in a few weeks! We looking forward to seeing everyone so enjoy the remainder of summer break and we’ll see you soon!

The New York State Public High School Athletic Association recognized the 2025 – 2026 Champions in the Classroom Schools of Distinction and Excellence. For the second year in a row Bolton Central School District was recognized as a School of Distinction for the 2025 – 2026 school year! To be recognized as a School of Distinction, a school must apply for the honor and have 100% of its varsity teams earn the Scholar-Athlete Team Award during their respective sports seasons.

"The commitment demonstrated by our member schools to academic excellence continues to be one of the greatest strengths of educational-based athletics," said Dr. Robert Zayas, NYSPHSAA Executive Director. "These awards recognize entire school communities that value success in the classroom as much as success in competition."

Congratulations to all our student- athletes who are clearly strong on the field AND in the classroom! We would also like to thank the coaches, advisors, teachers, families and the community who support our student-athletes in so many ways!

🚨 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: Let’s Rock This Summer! πŸšœπŸ“š
Every single year, our community shows up, steps up, and makes magic happen! We are officially on the lookout for rockstar volunteers to help power the Bolton Landing Farmers Market and our highly anticipated Annual Library Book Sale.

πŸŽ“ Calling All Students! Looking for a rewarding way to build your resume, score some required community service hours, or just give back? This is the perfect chance to gain leadership experience, connect with neighbors, and make a tangible impact right here in your community! Of course we would never turn away anyone who wants to help so this is for families and community members too!

Whether you have a quick two hours to spare or are ready to flex some muscles, we have a spot for you.

🚜 1. THE FARMERS MARKET CREW (Friday Mornings)
β€’ The Mission: Keep our bustling local market thriving!
β€’ The Vibe: Quick, high-energy 2-hour shifts.
β€’ The Need: Most of our schedule is locked in, but we need a few stellar individuals to fill the final gaps and join our "on-call" backup squad.

πŸ“š 2. THE MEGA LIBRARY BOOK SALE (⏳ IT'S COMING UP SOON!)
Our biggest bookish event of the summer is right around the corner, and we need an all-hands-on-deck crew of students, parents, and neighbors to pull it off!
β€’ πŸ“… THURSDAY, JULY 23rd β€’ The Heavy Lifting (Setup Day)
o We need a high-energy crew (calling all strong students and young adults!) to help fetch book boxes from the attic and set up our outdoor displays.
β€’ πŸ“… FRIDAY, JULY 24th – SUNDAY, JULY 26th β€’ The Main Event
o Keep the good vibes rolling! Snag a 2-hour shift to run the "cash register" table, welcome shoppers, and keep our book tables looking pristine. Parents, this is a great one to do with your kids!
β€’ πŸ“… SUNDAY, JULY 26th (Starting at 2:45 PM) β€’ The Final Breakdown
o Many hands make light work! Help us pack remaining books into the truck, bring supplies back up to the attic, and safely take down our 3 event tents.

All our Bolton Central School students work hard throughout the school year. In the beginning of June each year two awards ceremonies are held. One for students in grades 6 – 8 and the other for students in grades 9 – 12.

Administrators, teachers and parents gather in the gym to celebrate student accomplishments and achievements. Bolton students are involved in a wide variety of activities in and out of the classroom.

These awards provide an opportunity to celebrate an entire year of hard work and effort by our students.
We are extremely proud of all that the students have accomplished this year. Please be aware that our seniors received further recognition of scholarships and accolades as part of their graduation ceremony on Friday, June 26th at 7:00 p.m.

Both events were recorded and available for viewing by clicking the link below.
