Bolivar Richburg Music Boosters A parent/community run organization who's goal is to support the Bolivar-Richburg Music Program. We provide support to the students, parents and teachers.

It is the mission of the Music Boosters, in partnership with the Band Director and school administration, to provide each of our students an opportunity to receive the best music education possible. We intend to accomplish this objective by providing moral, physical, and financial support to all our music programs. We would like to invite our surrounding community to join us in our mission. Band directors really out here setting the bar at "just show up and don't fall" and we STILL find ways to celebrate it like we won nationals! 😂🎺

But honestly? That's the beauty of it. While we're dreaming of going pro, they're just hoping we remember to watch the conductor. And when we nail the basics? That's when the real magic happens. ✨

The expectations vs. reality gap is REAL, but those small victories hit different when your director is genuinely proud! 💙🎵

To all the drum majors out there... we SEE you! 💛

Everyone thinks you're just up there looking majestic and waving your arms, but we know the REAL truth! You're playing therapist, detective (where IS that music?!), peacekeeper, schedule coordinator, drill explainer, and somehow still managing to keep your conducting clean. 😅

From a distance: ✨ Inspiring! Graceful! The face of the band! ✨
Up close: "Has anyone seen section 3's drill?" "No, you can't go to the bathroom right now." "Why is nobody on their dot?!" 😂

Drum majors carry SO much more than just a mace—they carry the whole band on their shoulders. So here's a shoutout to every DM who's ever had to explain the same drill move 47 times, hunt down missing music, or give a pep talk at 6 AM. 👏
