Due to increased enrollment capacity, we have limited space available for the school year beginning in August!

Our preschool meets: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 8:15 am-11:45 am
We also have one spot remaining in our Monday morning (4 day) program for Pre-K age (4 by August 1)

Our students graduate Pre-K with the benefit of preschool experiences that enrich quality of character and prepare them well, socially and emotionally, for elementary education.
*Our program focuses on Christian character development and showing God's love to others
*Weekly Bible story with memory verse. By the end of the school year, ZCP students have learned and engaged meaningfully with over 30 Bible stories and memory verses, complete with ASL signs!
*Letter and Number of the Week focus each week
*Enriching activities, curriculum, and learning opportunities; Weekly Science, Library, & Chapel
*Daily Music & Motion Time promotes love of music & musical education with fun & engaging songs and activities

We are hiring a part time teacher for the upcoming school year to begin in August. If the description below fits you, please get in touch with us!

This position is for Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday mornings from 7:45-about noon, plus about two hours of flexible prep during the week and some minimal additional hours for extra events scattered throughout the school year. About 15 hours per week.

Preferred qualifications:

-experience working with children & facilitating children’s activities

-enjoys working with preschool age children; comfortable communicating with young children and leading children’s activities (experience is preferred, but applicants who feel comfortable with young children and the idea of leading activities like this and would like to grow in these skills are also welcome to apply)

-warm & engaging personality that puts both children & parents at ease

-dependable member of a team; patient and kind in relating to children

-strong verbal and written communication skills (these skills are very important for communication with both students and parents at ZCP)

-Christian who is a regular and participating part of a church community; well versed in principles of basic Christianity and comfortable communicating these ideas to children

-comfortable planning & leading Bible, Music, & Science time for a group of 20-25 kids from combined preschool classes (our teachers rotate leading these activities; Bible curriculum is provided)

-able to effectively and creatively present curriculum and quality instruction of preschool skills

-comfortable incorporating basic Christian principles (showing kindness and respect to others; treating all others as valued and loved by God) into classroom and behavior management
