Last weekend, we lead a D-Now at FBC Mountain Grove! We’ve been to this church many times but last weekend was extra special. This group of students has such a heart for worship and a heart for one another and it was a blessing to be with them again.
•
This weekend we talked about what true revival is and how to live for revival. Praying that we all continue to seek revival rather than just surviving!
•
Next Stop: Mount Vernon, MO, April 14-16

Had such a great time in Hermitage, MO at their annual youth conference!

Addison and Aidan were the only current members who could make it this weekend (and of course our faculty director Charlton), but it was such a joy to have Jeremy and Jacob back with HG, and so awesome to meet Owen and have him play/sing with us!

What a fun weekend and a fun group to hangout with!

We’re having such a fun time already here at FBC Cameron!

Last night, we talked about renewing our hearts, and this morning we focused on the renewal of our mind. A verse we discussed this morning was Philippians 4:8:
“Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about such things.“
•
Paul does such a great job at giving us a description of the honorable mind.
•
Let this verse serve as both an encouragement and a challenge to set our mind on things that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, and above all, Christlike!

We are holding auditions for the Spring semester for the first time in a while this year!! We would love for anyone that is interested at all in being in Higher Ground in the spring to come to auditions December 8th! Please come prepared with a song to perform for us! We are so excited! :)

Next up, Meliza Knapp!! Meliza just moved to Sedalia, MO and plays acoustic guitar in Higher Ground, along with MANY other instruments! She loves the beach, board games, and cutting hair for fun! She’s an RA in Leslie Hall (the best dorm ever) and read over 85 books this summer!! Hit her up for some good book recommendations!📚🤍
