Big feelings are part of growing up! 💛😊

This October, our little learners here at The Learning Experience - Bolingbrook are diving into My Emotions and Feelings, a curriculum theme designed to help children better understand what they’re feeling, express themselves, and build the social-emotional skills they’ll use every day. 🌈💬

With Miss Chievous by their side, children will explore the many emotions they experience and discover simple ways to navigate big feelings. ✨

Learning how to understand our feelings is an important part of learning how to care for ourselves, connect with others, and grow with confidence. 💕 We can't wait to see what this month of exploration and discovery brings! 🌱

🎨✨ Creative Minds at Work! ✨🎨

Our preschoolers enjoyed exploring play dough during center time today! As they rolled, pinched, flattened, and molded their creations, they were building so much more than artwork.

Play dough activities help strengthen the small muscles in children's hands and fingers, preparing them for future writing tasks. Children also practiced problem-solving, creativity, hand-eye coordination, and early math concepts as they experimented with shapes, sizes, and tools.

Through open-ended experiences like this, preschoolers are encouraged to express their ideas, make choices, and build confidence in their abilities. We love watching learning come to life through purposeful play!

Fall comes with so many exciting opportunities to learn. 🌱 As part of our My Emotions and Feelings curriculum theme, little ones will explore the sights, textures, and sounds of fall through hands-on experiences with seasonal materials, giving them plenty of opportunities to discover, create, and connect their learning to the world around them.
