Most women are concerned about the health of their hair and scalp. We purchase products, change stylists, and sometimes take tips from strangers in pursuit of the “perfect” head of hair. Unfortunately, hair and scalp health has reached an all-time low – especially for women of African descent. Improvements in product technology, access to the internet and multiple style options would have one beli

eve that anyone can find a magic cure for any hair issue; however, many women are still frustrated. There are so many variables in our lives that can impact our hair and scalp:

✅ Diet,
✅ Health,
✅ Stress,
✅ Grooming regimens,
✅ Environment…

The possibilities are endless! Knowledge is essential in understanding the impact of LIFE on our hair and scalp. Research on how physical and mental health, environmental factors, genetics, and personal practices affect our hair plays a crucial role in solving many of the problems that exist in the world of hair. You have a unique opportunity to be a part of this research! Your willingness to volunteer to participate in various hair studies allows us the platform to further address the impact of lifestyle on hair and scalp health. There are opportunities for:

🏆 Hair Professionals – Those with a background and coursework in the study of hair, those who have a client base and work with hair to earn a living, or those who are certified in the use of chemicals on the hair and scalp.

🏆 Hair Students – Those who deal with their own (or others) hair on a regular basis, but do not have formal education in the study of hair, or those who have read every manual, blog, and package and still aren’t sure about their hair, and everyone else. Our team of specialized cosmetologists/trichologists is here to make an impact in better serving the needs of clients using science.

Through years of development, testing, and partnership, Mane Insights has worked to create a process that supports more structured data collection while allowing professionals to access insights they can trust.

Now, it's time to showcase that work.

Dr. Jarrad Hampton-Marcell, Judy Malas, and I are proud to sponsor a talk at the Association of Professional Trichologists Summit to share new results and highlight the role trichology can play in advancing research, analysis, and personalized care.
