For sensory seeking kiddos, bedtime can feel extra hard when their bodies are still craving movement, input, and pressure when it’s time to tuck in. Try adding a mix of activities into your evening routine to help them feel more organized and regulated.

➡️Big Movement
➡️Jumping
➡️Crashing
➡️Climbing
➡️Running
➡️Big Hugs and Pillow Squeezes

📌 Amanda + Rachel’s # 1 Tip 👇
Implement all this movement earlier in the evening to better support your child’s nervous system by giving them enough time to settle down.

Is it time to implement a pre-bedtime routine for your sensory seeking kiddo? ⏰

In this week’s new Youtube video, Amanda and Rachel share why zero movement before bed can actually lead to sleep resistance, and why sensory-seeking kids often need intentional movement earlier in the evening instead.

For many sensory seekers, movement helps their nervous systems feel calm, regulated, and organized throughout the day. But timing matters! Big movements too close to bedtime can sometimes make it harder for the body to fully wind down for sleep.

That’s why intentional movement earlier in the evening can help support a calmer, smoother bedtime routine. Activities like jumping, climbing, and swinging may help sensory seekers feel more regulated before bed. 💙

Potty training struggles are usually not just about behavior! 🚽👶

If you continue to run into issues with toileting, it is possible that your child’s body and nervous system haven’t learned the skills to be ready to work together yet for this task.

Potty training challenges can be connected to things like nervous system regulation, pelvic floor coordination, sensory processing, and body awareness.

If potty training is feeling harder than you expected right now, hear this:

💙 Your child isn’t doing it on purpose
💙 They’re not lazy or stubborn
💙 You are doing a great job

In our newest YouTube episode, Amanda and Rachel are talking all about pediatric pelvic floor health, what common potty training challenges really mean, and why reducing pressure can make a big difference.

Gagging, refusing bites, that classic “no thanks” face…. Sometimes starting solids with your baby can feel harder than you expected. 🫠

Food is brand new sensory input: textures, smells, temperatures, and even new mouth movements. That’s a lot for a tiny nervous system to process!

So if your baby wants to touch, squish, smear, or play first… that totally counts! It’s all part of learning.🖐️

In our latest YouTube video, Rachel is unpacking the sensory side of feeding and diving into what can help babies build their skills with solids.
