The Tips for Charity Program is a much-loved tradition that goes hand-in-hand with Alive After 5. Every year, Downtown Boise Foundation selects two local charity partners who become beneficiaries for select concert dates. We are so excited to have been chosen as one of those charities this year! We will be volunteering behind the bar, selling drinks at each concerts and 100% of tips are donated to the Boise Rock School.

☀️ Summer Camp Spotlight: Beatmaking Camp! 🎧🎹

Ages: 8-18

Drop the beat and make some NOISE!

Whether you're into hip-hop, EDM, pop, or experimental sounds, this camp will have you making music like a real producer. In this hands-on camp, students will learn how to create original songs (or recreate their favorite song!) while learning about sampling, beat creation, recording, and arranging tracks.

Join us for a Vocal Workshop with vocal coach, former BRS teacher, and rockstar, ! 🎤🎶

In this workshop, you’ll explore how physical presence, movement, and embodiment directly impact your vocal performance. Whether you’re on stage, in an audition, or connecting with an audience, the way you use your body can transform how your voice is heard and felt.

Through guided exercises and performance-based exploration, you’ll learn how to move beyond “just singing” and step into fully realized, expressive performance.

In a world of youth mental health challenges and increased screen dependency, we provide an exciting experience for youth to explore their creativity in a safe and inclusive space. Our nonprofit is dedicated to accessible arts education that empowers our youth and builds resilience.

During Idaho Gives, your support will go towards:

1. Student Scholarships - we never turn anyone away for inability to pay!
2. Outreach Programming - we bring impactful music education to underserved communities such as St. Luke's Children's Hospital, Ada County Juvenile Corrections, Camp Rainbow Gold, and many more!

At Boise Rock School, we believe every kid deserves access to creative music instruction, regardless of economic status or other life circumstances. That’s why our scholarship program is at the heart of what we do!

Every month, we provide scholarships to dozens of students who otherwise might not be able to afford lessons. These young musicians gain more than just musical skills, they gain confidence, friendships, and a creative outlet that lasts a lifetime.
