We should have occupancy on our permanent home first week of March. We will then pivot to fundraising to finish the stucco exterior, sidewalks, the studio, and the venue. Cautiously excited! Huge thanks to @zga_architects and @hccompany208 and all the super super rad supporters that have gotten out little nonprofit this far!

Over the course of our 13 year history, we have worked with over 10,000+ young artists and musicians. We have brought music education all over the valley, from St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital to Stanley Idaho School, and Ada County Detention Center to Ikastola Basque Preschool.
When the pandemic hit, we were faced with so many hurdles. We had immediate financial shortcomings, a much reduced enrollment, and a mountain to climb in regards to how to deliver our brand of arts education online. But you know what? We persevered. We were able to bridge the gap financially with the generous support of our community.
We’re about halfway through the build out of Boise Rock School and Juno Arts’s future home. We’re trying to create a nonprofit owned, all ages cultural hub that will be around for generations to come. Your donation of any amount will help us continue to empower youth through music!

In 2019 we set the goal of acquiring our own building. The growth of the Treasure Valley made it clear that we needed to have a permanent location. In December 2020 we purchased a suitable (7000 sf) building with funds we had raised - one that would allow us to grow our impact for the future. We knew when we purchased the building that it needed serious renovations. Little did we know that 2021 would be a hyper-expensive year for construction (not to mention supply chain delays and other challenges). To make the project logistically easier we broke it into three phases: 1) a classroom space with over 12 rooms, 2) a professional recording studio and 3) a small venue (100 person capacity). We are almost there with phase 1! If you can support our capital campaign during Giving Tuesday you will be helping to empower the next generation of creative artists in our rad nonprofit owned space! Our new building will be accompanied by our adoption of the parent name Juno Arts (aka Boise Rock School will become a program of Juno Arts). Under Juno Arts we are expanding our offerings to include all aspects of digital media arts. We’ve worked directly with well over 10,000 young artists since we started in 2008. Youth matters! We are dedicated to an innovative and creative future!
