Lake Hazel Elementary Library

I hope everyone's school year is starting off great! I am looking for one or more volunteers who would like to come into the library and cover books with contact paper to help them last longer. Supplies will be provided. You could come anytime between 9 and 3:45. We could arrange a schedule that works for you and it could be as often or as little as you would like! All proceeds from the Palooza Basket Silent Auction and raffle benefits LHE Library!

This past weekend our IBOB team competed in the Idaho Battle of Books regional tournament. They did amazing and made it to the quarterfinals! I am so proud of them and how hard they worked.

So excited for our buy one get one free book fair this week! Family shopping is Tuesday, April 15 from 4:00-6:00. Student shopping times are Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at recesses. I look forward to seeing you all there!

Just a friendly reminder to bring your public library card to Read Night tonight to show Miss Jessica and help us to win $500 for our school library! If you don't have one, go sign up for one and bring it in anytime in March!

Planning is underway for our Palooza on April 25. We are getting lots of great donations from local businesses but I am looking for some help in picking up the items. You wouldn't be asking for or trying to get any donations, simply picking up things businesses already said they would donate. Volunteers needed! Our book fair starts this week. I am looking for a couple of parents to help ring up sales on Wednesday morning from about 8:20 to 9:30. If you are available and would like to help, please let me know. Thank you so much for your support of our school library!
