Operating as usual

Earlier this year our community lost a bright light in Jadin Zurawski. We had the honor of working with his family to create this memorial wall near the intersection of 16th and Washington. Hopefully this piece serves as a beacon for all those who love and miss him #lljz 12/01/2023

Boise-based artist collective, Sector 17, recently completed a wonderful memorial mural for Boise Brave Jadin Zurawski near 16th on Washington. He was hit in the crosswalk there and died on his way to register for classes in August.

Message from Superintendent:
๏ปฟBe Safe For The Break
November 17, 2023

Dear Boise Friends and Families,

As we begin our Autumn Break, we want everyone to stay safe and healthy. However, there are many in our community who are in crisis. Please, talk to your kids. Reconnect with a distant family member or friend. Find a kind word for a stranger.

While our schools are often the safe space for our youth, there are resources in place for you and your loved ones at any time of the day or night. If you, or someone you know, needs support, please reach out to your mental health provider or one of our community partners below:

2023 Holiday Resource List for Families

Photos from Boise Brave Family's post 11/16/2023

Thank you teachers who have stepped up to help make such a wide variety of AP classes a possibility here at Boise High. We have many students in our midst who have benefited from these course offerings over the years. ๐Ÿ˜Š

11/14/2023

From Mr. Chehey:

FINAL REMINDER! Students in AP classes -- Weds, Nov 15th, is the final deadline to join an AP course or to change the exam indicator to NO, without incurring a $40 late add or $40 drop/cancel fee. [These fees are not covered by AdvOpp/FastForward funds]. You can check your myAP/AP Classroom account on CollegeBoard to be certain that you are enrolled [and are a YES for the test], or if no longer in the class or do not want to take the exam in May, it needs to be confirmed.
