Today is the day. 3-8pm at the fairgrounds.
Tomorrow from 3-8pm at the Boise Fairgrounds the Idaho food bank and the Farmers to families food program will be handing out food boxes to those in need. It is a drive up don't have to get out of your car pick up. Info in the link below.

Boise School District To Free Meal Services

Boise, ID -- 09/15/2020 -- Boise School District is pleased to announce that the USDA has extended the waiver to provide free meals to all children ages one (1) to eighteen (18). Starting immediately, one free breakfast and one free lunch per child per day will be available to all children including children receiving meals in their neighborhood schools, children attending full-time online school, and children in the community who are too young to attend school. This service will be available through December 2020 or until USDA funds run out.

Curbside Meals: Starting Monday, September 21, 2020, Grab & Go Curbside Meals will be available for daily pick up Monday - Friday from 3:30 pm to 4:00 pm at the following locations:
Timberline High School - bus loop off of Apple St.
North Jr High School - parking lot off of Fort St.; outside of cafeteria
South Jr High School - front of the building (parent pick-up route)
West Jr High School - front of the building (parent pick-up route)
Hillside Jr High School - the roundabout outside of the new cafeteria
Riverglen Jr High School - front of the building (parent pick-up route)
Fairmont Jr High School - parking lot at entrance to school

Curbside Meals are available for any child attending a full-time online school, children attending a neighborhood school that is temporarily closed, or for community children who are too young to attend school (a toddler or preschooler). Children do not need to be present; meals can be picked up by a parent or guardian. Meals are intended to be eaten off site. Meals will be served sack style on a first come first served basis. Each sack will contain one breakfast and one lunch. Locations and times may change.
If your child requires special meal accommodations, please contact the Boise School District Food & Nutrition Service Office at 208-854-4067 to make arrangements.

Welcome Back! Now that Thanksgiving is behind us we can focus on Christmas. The Garfield Holiday Shop began today and will run after school Monday-Thursday from 3:15-3:45 and then during Movie Night this Friday. The students have gone through and checked things out and have an idea of what we are selling. It is a convenient and low cost way to get gifts for those on your Christmas list. I hope you stop by.

Thank you to all those who participated in the Believe Fundraiser. With your efforts and support we brought in $2,570 to be used towards Garfield Field Trips and supplies. THANKS AGAIN!

Halloween is right around and what better way to celebrate then to come and DANCE with your ghost and goblins at Garfield's Family Dance. It is this Friday 6-8. All money goes to the 6th grade EFT. So lets get our dance on!!!!

OMG!!! What a great turn out for the Whole Foods "Day of Service." We had so many volunteers that we not only made the 8 garden boxes for Garfield, but 8 more for another start up garden. A BIG thank you to all those who came out and helped. It is greatly appreciated.
