Do you know a business owner who would like some awesome, inexpensive, advertising?!?!? Please share this post!
Dear Patron,
I'm helping Borah Choir with their sponsorship fundraising and thought your business would be a great fit for
what we're doing.
The Boise School District shifted from a fee based policy for extra and co-curricular classes to a no fee
policy. This is wonderful for the students and their families, but has made operating a large choral program
impossible without sponsorships from our friends and local businesses. The Borah choral department has to
raise between $45,000-$70,000 each year to run the program (choir tours, retreats, elementary/junior high
reach-outs, robes, outfits, t-shirts etc...). As you can imagine, we are fundraising like crazy in order to help
create an awesome experience for all of the students involved in one or more of the five choirs at Borah
High School, but fundraising is simply not enough.
This year we are printing professional programs that will be distributed at all 14 of our concerts this school
year- including a concert with the Yale Whiffenpoofs- reaching out far beyond our Borah Community! We are
searching for local business that would be willing to use some advertising dollars to have their logo and/or
advertisement printed on our programs.
Each page of the program will be 8.5x11 and the cost is:
● $100 for a business card size
● $250 for 1/4 page ad
● $500 for 1/2 page ad
● $1000 for a full page ad
The donation can also be a tax write-off for businesses and individuals! Simply donate by going to the Boise
Schools Foundation website, boiseschoolsfoundation.com. Click on “Donate Now” at the top of the page.
Then in the donation box, select “other” and type “Borah Choir” in the text field.
You can also make payments to the Borah Business Office (see address below) or you can directly email a
check made out to Borah Choir to:

October 16th).
Thank you for your consideration!
Dear Parents/Guardians, and Patrons of the Borah Choral Program,
The Boise School District shifted from a fee based policy for extra and co-curricular classes to a no fee policy. This is wonderful for our students and families, but has made operating a large choral program impossible without donations from our friends and family. The Borah choral department needs to raise between $45,000-$70,000 each year to run the program (choir tours, retreats, elementary/junior high reach-outs, robes, outfits, t-shirts etc...). As you can imagine, we are fundraising like crazy in order to help create an awesome experience for all of the students involved in one or more of the five choirs at Borah High School, but fundraising is simply not enough.
I’m reaching out to you to see if you’d be willing to donate to the Borah Choir program.
There are three ways to donate:
1- Boise Education Foundation- your donation may be a tax deduction (consult your tax advisor).
Donate by going to the Boise Schools Foundation website, www.boiseschoolsfoundation.com
Click on “Donate Now” at the top of the page.
On the next page, select “other” and type “Borah Choir” in the text field.
Choose any amount you wish to donate to help the program
Even better, many local companies will match donations (Micron, HP, UPS, Starbucks, McDonalds etc...)! View the list of over 40 companies and see if your or a family member's employer is one of them.
