On Tuesday, October 18 at 10 Barrel Brewery we turn the floor over to our Chapter President, TJ O’Brien to present Release the Hounds! How to Get Started Quickly and Be Effective. TJ will provide insights on how to get started to provide business value right away even if you know nothing about a domain or are the resident expert. You can acquire knowledge of tools such as SIPOC, context diagrams, state models, mind mapping, and activity diagrams. Additionally, you can learn how to determine what is good enough to avoid analysis paralysis and still collaborate effectively. Be sure to register for the event at our website WesternIdaho.IIBA.org.

It is not enough just being a member of a professional group. You need to be active. You need to participate. You need to be supportive. Without active members the leadership group has no one to lead. There is no reason to post to social media. There is no reward for all the hard work to locate and book quality presenters. If you ARE a IIBA member, come to the events, volunteer for a committee, or even offer to present at a chapter meeting. If you are NOT a IIBA member, you are missing out on opportunities to meet new people, chat with old friends, learn new techniques, or share your insights. We would love to see you and build some great memories. Join us at www.WesternIdaho.iiba.org.
