PYP (K-5) Parents! We hope you received the email invitation from Mr. Wakild for our Info night tomorrow (Tuesday) at 7:00pm.
We are excited to re-launch a PYP-specific Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) this year. Due to covid and other factors, we have lost this important part of our school and I see so many opportunities for parent impact at Sage over the course of the next several years (and hopefully beyond!).
We hope you can join us tomorrow night via Zoom, check your email for details or email Mr. Wakild if you didn't receive the link.
Hi and happy summer! Hope it’s going well, where our new-to-Sage families at?! Any questions for us? Parents feel free to chime in below! We’re excited for you to join us, first day of school is only FOUR weeks away!

5 PM UPDATE: Just under $3,500 to go to meet our Idaho GIves goal and our $100,000 Mind the Gap fundraising goal for the year! 😍😍😍
We have a few more hours to raise just over $4,000 and every bit helps us reach our goal! Let's show Idaho how much we love Sage, our teachers, and our community! https://www.idahogives.org/organizations/sage-international-school-of-boise
We have one awesome parent giving chair massages today and Thursday, and she is fully booked! This idea was wildly popular and appreciated, and we still have LOTS of teachers who would love to take part...anyone else willing to come give chair massages? Or know of someone who may? #teacherappreciation #weloveourteachers
Parents, we need your help! The middle school Student Council came up with the awesome idea to provide chair massages for all our hard-working (and stressed, tired, AMAZING) teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week. Do you know of any massage therapists who may be willing to let us borrow their chair(s), and/or either donate their time or give us a reduced rate? We are looking at a day between May 3-6. Thank you for ANY leads you can give us!
One last push for donations of coffee and pastries tomorrow for our awesome Sage teachers! You can sign up here: https://sageinternationalpto.us7.list-manage.com/track/click?u=e964908c4cb8cd6e8f46cfa78&id=14d9c25d38&e=057d12141d
And drop them off any time after 7:30 tomorrow morning. THANK YOU!
PTO Teacher Appreciation Thank you for your generous donation to show our Sage teachers we love them! Please select an item below and deliver between 7:30-8:30 AM on Monday, May 3rd to the front desk of your student's building.
Idaho Gives starts TODAY!
Idaho Gives is LIVE! This year's campaign is all about our Teachers and Staff, and showing them our gratitude for their hard work and dedication this year. The generous Downey family will be matching the first $2021 in donations in honor of their sons Gus and Luke graduating this year! So....if you give now, your gift can go twice as far! THANK YOU Downey Family, what a way to kick off Idaho Gives this year! ❤🙏👨🎓👨🎓 https://www.idahogives.org/organizations/sage-international-school-of-boise
Thank you to everyone who joined us on Zoom last night, it was great to see you! We have some exciting things in store for this year yet, so if you would like to be kept in the loop email us at [email protected] or sign up for our PTO mailing list here: http://eepurl.com/dEMaar

Families with Sage students in grades 6th-12th: It is with great disappointment that we are not able to return to in-person learning tomorrow. An email was sent to all families with more information, but COVID-related staffing constraints are causing us to reschedule the return for 6th-12th on-campus learning. 😞 The anticipated return date for 6-12th students is now Monday November 9, 2020. K-5 students will continue with in person, on campus learning at this time. Please check your email for more details, and be well Sage Family! #sagestrong

Due to a growing demand, the Sage PTO is helping to connect people in your area to form a learning or social pod. Fill out the form at: https://forms.gle/5caBifLomKJnJBWs5
docs.google.com The expectations for the Learning Pods are to follow CDH and CDC guidelines to wear masks and have hand sanitizer accessible.
Reposted: "I followed the discussions of parents forming private pods and hiring their own teachers, but I really wanted an option for mutual aid that was focused within my kids' class and open to everyone.
I couldn't find an easy way to organize distance learning support pods within a class, so I decided to go ahead and make one. It's free, just an engineer's side project to solve a problem I've been wrestling with. It lets people create and join pods, helping coordinate things like dividing up adult supervision, staying in contact, scheduling meeting times, etc.
If you'd like to use it I can let you know when it's ready, probably about a week, if you sign up here: joinmypod.org"
joinmypod.org joinmypod.org helps parents form mutual support pods to coordinate and schedule in-person and distance learning aid, study groups, and childcare within a safe, small community.
