Yesterday St. Joe's students spent time in Adoration throughout the day. Fr. Mariusz visited the 2nd grade before they went and shared with them about what they would encounter. He encouraged them to just sit there and know that Jesus is looking at them and loving them because they were created by the Lord. He compared it to sunbathing, you can just sit there and soak in the love of Jesus. Thank you Father for such inspiring words!

Last week Fr. Aleksander asked students to make a list of times they encountered God in the simple aspects of their daily life. Here are some examples students shared at Mass today:
I've experienced God and His love when...
Saying the rosary with my parents, when my sister came home from college and we watched a movie together, whenever I see a crucifix, skiing with my family, whenever I am outside, when I do well on a math test, looking at the stars, when I pray, having great priests and deacons, & walking the dog with my family.
This was a great example of how it's possible in the simple things to encounter and discover God!
Don't miss out on this fun night of dinner, dancing & supporting St. Joe's!
