Thank you St Joseph's Catholic School, especially the SJCS National Honor Society, for hosting a fantastic book drive! We appreciate your donation of over 1000 books!
Giving Trees are up and there are still some tags that need to be filled. We are looking to provide nearly 600 gifts to primarily refugee families, single mothers and foster children. We are working with Catholic Charities, Family Advocacy Groups, St. Vincent de Paul, CASA and Baby Steps.
If you have not yet taken a tag, please look for one that speaks to you when you come to church. Also, if you have already taken a tag but feel you might be able to take more, please, don’t be shy. If you would like to donate to this ministry to help pay for tags that aren’t picked up, please make a donation online at

If you choose a gift card tag from the giving tree please consider purchasing your gift cards through the St Joseph's Catholic School Scrip Program. The Scrip Program allows you to purchase gift cards for over 700 retailers and the school receives a rebate for the purchase. Please call the school office or see the bulletin for details. Please feel free to order any other gift cards you might need from the St. Joe’s Scrip program; check the bulletin for more details.
Gifts are due back next weekend, December 11th and 12th at all Masses!
For more information on who receives gifts, rules or restrictions that apply to this project, or to become a volunteer and help bring Christmas to our local needy families, please contact Anita at (208) 863-8443.
Wishing you a blessed and beautiful Advent season. Thank you for your generosity.

Just as Jesus dwelled in the first tabernacle—Mary’s womb—our tabernacle is veiled. The body of Jesus will soon dwell in our new tabernacle, which will be installed and blessed at the Holy Mass, the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. Please join us Friday, June 11 at 7 pm and bear witness to this historic event.

The Easter Vigil was a fantastic celebration. Included in the newly baptized and confirmed were ten of our St Joseph's Catholic School students. They all did an amazing job and the mass was so filled with faith and joy.
We just wanted to share a few quotes from that celebration:
Just before Bishop Peter was to baptize him, one student beamed and exclaimed “I’ve been waiting for this my whole life!”
After receiving his candle, a student proudly decided “I’m going to glue this to my desk at home and I’m going to pray in front of it every single day!”
Is it any wonder we’re told that unless you come with the heart of a child, you can not enter the kingdom of heaven?
