Aerial dance trapeze is an artistic subcategory of static trapeze that hangs from a single swivel point, causing the ropes to form a "V" shape. If you love solid apparatuses or are ready to try something new, these classes are for you!

​Learn the foundations (or continue your practice) of aerial dance trapeze. Seamlessly spin, swing, and flow through contemporary dance movements, combining dynamic drops and acrobatic balances with graceful, fluid choreography.

✨ Meet Megan!
Megan is a movement artist specializing in aerial dance and butoh. She discovered dance trapeze at Canopy Studio in 2002 and has since performed, choreographed, directed, and taught throughout the US and internationally. 

Now based in Boise, Megan practices butoh with NYC-based RenGyoSoh and serves as an Associate Professor of Human-Environment Systems at Boise State University. She is excited to share her movement approach with the Circus Vision community.

Aerial arts, suitable for kids and teens of all ages and skill levels, combine elements of dance and gymnastics on split fabrics. Campers learn climbs, inverts, and sequences under the supervision of SafeSport certified coaches with decades of teaching experience. Drop off the kids for camp or grab a seat and a snack, and connect to our WiFi to get some work done!

I’ve dedicated the last 20 years to aerial arts and trapeze, and I love sharing my passion with my students. Circus Vision students learn at their own pace in the kind of circus environment I always wanted: one where everyone feels supported, successful, and safe.
