Music ignites all areas of child development, including the cognitive, verbal, physical and social-emotional skills to improve school readiness. It encourages the body and mind to work together and develops positive behaviors that your child will carry with them beyond kindergarten. Exposing children to music during early development gives them additional tools to learn crucial skills, such as the sounds and meanings of words, enhanced motor functions and strong memory skills.
While music facilitates effective adaptation of the skills below, it also infuses students with joy, which they are encouraged to express through movement and creating music themselves. Introducing these creative forms of learning and interacting to your child as early as possible opens developmental doors that may not be available to them in a traditional school readiness program.
