🎸🎹🥁Music therapy is a therapeutic technique that employs the use of music to address physical, emotional, cognitive and social needs. It uses activities like listening to melodies; playing an instrument; drumming or writing songs which promote healing feelings as well as regulate emotions such as anger or sadness.
clients may participate in the creative process by composing their own songs or creating improvisations. They can also engage with receptive processes through listening to relaxing pieces of music and discussing any thoughts or feelings they experience from it.

What is the difference between Neurodivergent and Neurotypical?
Neurodivergent children are those who have one of the following less typical cognitive variations: autism, ADHD, dyslexia, or dyspraxia. Neurotypicals on other hand are those with more common mental capacities and intellectual/cognitive capabilities.
