Our final exhibition of the 2024-2025 academic year will be the Air Sense Juried Exhibition organized by the ArtSci Community on May 7th 10am-5pm and May 8th 10am-8pm. This show features works that merge science and art to explore topics like climate change, disease transmission, and patterns of flight and migration

The last two days of our current exhibitions are today and tomorrow 3/27 and 3/28 which coincides with the Treefort Music Fest x Boise State University School of the Arts showcase in the Center for the Visual Arts. So much visual and performing arts to see all over the building. Gallery hours through 3/28 10am-5pm. Free.

Our current exhibitions are on view through March 28th, 2025 but please note the Blue Galleries will be closed during Boise State University Spring Break March 17th-21st, 2025. Visit us Tuesday-Friday 10am-5pm to see the Biennial Faculty Exhibition, the Annual Student Juried Exhibition, and Janet Biggs: Imagination and Desire in a Northern Landscape (organized by the Barry Lopez Foundation for Art & Environment).

Janet Biggs: Imagination and Desire in a Northern Landscape, an exhibition organized by the Barry Lopez Foundation for Art & Environment, includes an installation of three videos by the artist. Videos will be shown at the Blue Galleries January 21st-March 28th, 2025 during regular gallery hours Tuesday-Friday 10am-5pm.
Traveling to the high Arctic with a group of artists and scientists aboard the Noorderlict, a two-masted schooner build in 1910, Biggs’ compositions are a clarion call for a heroic landscape that will be completely transformed within our lifetimes.

Katrina Kopelhoff is one of the newest faculty in the Boise State Department of Art, Design and Visual Studies currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Illustration. See her work in the 2025 Biennial Faculty Exhibition which opens Tuesday, January 21st at 10am. Gallery hours Tuesday-Friday 10am-5pm
