The Knights take on Vallivue tonight, and the Bishop Kelly Foundation booth is where the real competition starts. Three holes. Three throws. We can't tell you what kind of puppy is coming to the Winner's Choice Dinner & Auction this year.

Partly because it's a surprise. Partly because we don't know yet either.

Here's what we do know. It will be adorable. It will steal the room the second it walks in. And it will do its part for Bishop Kelly students, just like these three pups before it.

The bigger mystery is who takes it home. Will it be a first-time bidder? A family who lost out last year and has been waiting twelve months for a rematch? Someone who swore they were only there for the dinner?

One puppy to love. One very good night for Bishop Kelly.

Hard work in high places and faith in action.

A crew of Bishop Kelly seniors spent part of their summer near McCall rebuilding a trail through a stretch of forest a wildfire took — new footbridges, new footings, new lumber hauled in by hand. They did it alongside the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation, with ESI Construction covering the cost.

That's a Senior Service Project. It's also what a Bishop Kelly education looks like once it leaves the building: faith that shows up with gloves on and goes to work.

A very big thank you to Engineered Structures, Inc. (ESI) for your support of BK, to Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation for putting them to work, and to these Knights for their big hearts (and sore backs)!

Before they met as opponents, they knelt as brothers.

Players from Bishop Kelly and Aquinas High School filled St. Teresa of Jesus Chapel this morning to celebrate Mass together — hours before they line up across from each other on Nick Ysursa Field tonight.

Two Catholic schools. One faith. A hundred-plus young men who understand that the guy on the other side of the ball shares something bigger than a rivalry.

This is Catholic education doing exactly what it's supposed to do. It doesn't stop at the classroom door or the sideline.

Thank you to the Aquinas Falcons for making the trip to Idaho to help us open the season — and to both programs for starting it in the chapel.

Players from the Bishop Kelly and Aquinas High School Football teams packed the St. Teresa of Jesus Chapel at BK this morning, celebrating Mass together as brothers in Christ before they meet as opponents on Nick Ysursa field tonight.

BK is blessed to have another Catholic High School in the Treasure Valley for this matchup. Thank you Aquinas Falcons for making the trip to Idaho to help us kick off our season and celebrate Catholic education!

The Biship Kelly Foundation grants more than $600k generated by the endowment and Winner's Choice Auction to Bishop Kelly each school year.
These monies make up 15% of our operating budget.

The Foundation provides need based financial assistance to more than 25% of the families that attend BK.
