Thank you to the Idaho State University College of Health nursing students for coming into our parenting & pregnancy class today to teach us about self-care! 🩷🛁🧘♀️
Self-care is important in our everyday life to ensure we are prioritizing our needs & not giving from an empty cup. When you become a parent, it can be hard to find time to practice self-care, but today we were taught some ways to implement it into our routines as new parents. 📆
We were given time to practice self-care during the class by using eye masks, listening to mediation music, work on crosswords/word searches, and create vision boards!
We had so much fun learning the importance of self-care and being able to practice it in our own ways! 😴
Thank you, ISU Nurses for an awesome class!

It’s that time of the year again where makes an amazing donation and change for our students during the holiday season🎁
For those of you who don’t know, Highlands Elementary, participates in what they call The Avalanche of Giving. Ms. Carter’s class creates tags with the needs of our students & their babies to hang on their tree for the school to “adopt” a student/baby for the holiday. How amazing is that?!🎄
The pictured gifts that go home with our students and their babies for Christmas, does not even begin to cover all that they donate! It truly is amazing & so kind.
A huge thank you to Ms. Carter, her class & students, the families at Highlands, & Highlands Elementary as a whole for continuing this support & making Christmas unforgettable for our students! We cannot thank you enough. ❤️
Merry Christmas! This is the best time of the year. 🎄🎅🏽

All of our sweet babies got to play at different stations with each other and their parents. We had books, balls, stacking blocks, etc.
