Virtual Universities

We are still looking around for educational researchers who are interested in researching various scientific phenomena. It is difficult to find anyone who has the time to conduct educational research in the various scientific fields especially for serving a non-profit such as Virtual Universities. Specifically, we are interested in finding a few well qualified persons who are interested in participating in the construction and fabrication of scanning laser microscopes for performing educational research in the various scientific fields. Of the 130 people face book says are following us here, maybe someone would be interested in responding to this educational research inquiry concerned with this post.

Virtual Universities just received an ISS 1000 RF Monitor that was donated by Ritron Inc which we plan to use in conjunction with our Beetle Abelation research project currently in progress at our Robie Creek Kelly Gulch Echo Canyon Road campus.

Free Lantz Engineer James J Howard recently contributed this to us as a continuing and ongoing education project.

It Includes two solid state relays to switch both legs of 240. An AC volt/amp meter to monitor pump volts and current. A pump run timer set to run 3 minutes then rest for 15 minutes supporting well recovery. Tank water level indicators and a tank float switch to turn off and turn on pump at certain levels. No more out of water conditions with 2500 gallons providing lots of water at a constant pressure of 45 psi just like city water.
Necessity is the mother of invention. The 2500 gallon storage tank sits about 100 feet vertically above our home on Piper Cub Lane. Boise Idaho

Virtual Universities Volunteer Engineers for the past few months have been busily working on a new communications system to cover remote areas of Idaho for solar powered emergency communications. Equipment has been ordered and will be assembled soon and software programs have been tested and are still on the drawing boards but will be instituted soon to see if it will all work as planned. More information will be made available when it has all been tested and if finally working.

VU Educational Research Project – for researching costs and equipment available in today’s market for the current replacement of WR7ID ATV Studio which was once located at 2113 N 26th street here in Boise Idaho and was lost a number of years ago.

Upon request I was invited to tour KAID Public Television Studios by their Engineer Mr. Jeff Tucker which I attended December 18th at 4:00 PM at their offices and studio complex that is located on Orchard Street in Boise Idaho.

On my arrival Jeff provided me with an excellent educational technical tour of all KAID studios and also of their production facilities. I observed many new HDTV Cameras with fiber optic cables which could easily be run 10 miles with no loss in quality, very compact portable HDTV production consoles employing major IT Technology, triangular lighting systems and grids supporting super efficient laser spot and flood lights which are tunable in light frequency (color) that utilize less than 25 watts of electrical power but continuously produce up to 800 watts of light equivalent lumens.

Jeff quoted some quite realistic cost estimates for purchasing current HTDV equipment for me and he also recommended various equipment manufacturers which he suggested would provide excellent quality and good service. Jeff recommended portable studio equipment that KAID is currently using which he thought would be a good value to use in an HDTV Station.

Jeff called my attention to the fact that now TV has converted mainly to IT and no longer uses the familiar coaxial video cables of the past but now uses CAT5 cables for interconnecting equipment in consoles and wiring systems. Also Jeff mentioned IT and server management is now the major system being used rather than that old video patch cabling system which was used in the past.

There were a couple of locations Jeff suggested for a studio that were used as studios in the past out off Cloverdale Road and on the other side of HP off of Highway 20 in the Discovery Business park which he thought might be worth looking into,

I found KAID’s Public Television Engineer Jeff Tucker to be very knowledgeable and most competent in his field. I believe that KAID is extremely fortunate to have Jeff for their engineer and that Virtual Universities indeed has benefitted greatly from this tour by gaining in expertise, a sense of direction, and from his most timely advice.

Most of the posts for Facebook are on my own page, and there are lots of them there! I see no value in posting them again here on this page! If that's any problem for Facebook users then I would like to hear from them concerning it! Thanks! Lowell A Morton

Not everyone has to like a page to make it useful to those who need to find information at such time as it becomes useful. Educational research web sites normally don't ask people who use them to post information evaluating their usefulness in exchange for that use. Just sayin'

On December 13th of 2005 Administrator Lowell A Morton met with Mrs. Marylin Davis at her ISBOE Offices here in Boise Idaho. The ISBOE discussed and liked his concept of performing Educational Research and each year since that time has re-approved his applications as a member in good standing in the ISBOE, subscribing to their guideline and under their good auspices.

Not everyone is going to like what people do in their lives, and accordingly Virtual Universities is not interested in winning any popularity contests, but only in continuing and completing its research projects. It is appropriate to say here that Virtual Universities promotes itself and it's own interests on its own time, but neither advertises its research nor divulges it's findings as they are solely proprietary and they will be released to our society of this country at large when we are done with our researches and when they are completed and at such time when we are ready.

08/12/2017

While some of our research projects are not in the public domain, if anyone wants to receive additional information they are welcome to inquire concerning progress on our projects in this list. Just because we do not post everything concerning our research activities does not mean that they are not moving forward effectively. It is not necessary that everyone likes this but it works well for us! If you have something to contribute concerning our policies your comments will be most welcome,
