Children and family members from our Davis Park Apartments enjoyed a day camp hosted by our amazing partners, 4-H University of Idaho Extension, Ada County. Our kiddos were treated to a day full of games, sports, and goodies, loving every second of it! We are so grateful to our friends at 4-H for this opportunity. Ada County 4-H, UI Extension
4-H believes in the power of young people and their ability to change the world. The UI extension program promotes various scientific topics. This is why I think that the documentary Kiss the Ground on Netflix, could be a great film to watch for anyone interested in farming, clean eating, or the health of the planet. This documentary highlights topics such as: soil erosion, soil regeneration, composting, and pesticides, but in an uplifting way. Kiss the Ground focuses on what we all can do together to improve the planet, if we don鈥檛 give up and we stay positive. There is also a 45 minute, educational version available for free online! Nobody is ever too young to help change the world!

Vandals at UI Extension, Ada County and Ada County 4-H, UI Extension are busy! The team engages hundreds of youth each year in projects like the LEGO robotics programs in the Boise and West Ada school districts. Additionally, Extension educators work with community partners to provide financial literacy programs to those in need. I was excited to meet the team that includes Madison Giese, Ariel Agenbroad, Sendy Martinez, Erica Tracy, Andrew Bingham, Susan Bell, Kara Jenkins, Allen Taggart, Bridget Morrisroe-Aman, Nikki Telford and Erin Argyle. Go Vandals!
