These amazing kids won’t let a little rain stand in their way! Moving date was a wet one, but so exciting to see our stuff finally finding it’s home! Can’t wait for Open House next week!
Classroom visits will be different this year, more of an open house style. You will receive an email depending on what class your child is registered for. You’ll be able to meet your child’s teacher & explore our new school while being able to meet other classmates and no 15 minute window pressure!!
In-person orientation with be at 7pm and is parent/guardian only with the exception of a baby that can be held, in a carrier or in a stroller.
Work time for a few parents at the new location means play time for the littles.
Calling all creative kiddos! Our new 3/4 teacher, Hailey, will also be teaching our brand new art exploration class on Tuesday and Thursdays from 12:10-2:40. Pair this with the T/Th mornings for a full day or MWF afternoon class for 5 days to round out your kiddos experience.
Meet Liza! She’s our new STEM teacher, and we’re very excited to have her on our team for the 2023-2024 school year! Below is a little bio about our amazing new teacher! Welcome, Liza!
“Liza moved to Boise from Jackson, Wyoming last Spring. She was a loyal nanny to a family in Jackson for many years. Once in Boise, she began working as a garden teacher at The Idaho Botanical Gardens. She helped lead the garden’s summer STEM camps, creating fun, hands on activities, where children could learn through play, and getting their hands dirty. Liza loves spending time with her rescue dog, Betsy. She spends her free time hiking, backpacking, skiing, gardening, and spending time on the water. Liza is so excited to join the BCP community.”
BCP family! Meet Hailey, our new 3/4 and art teacher extraordinaire!
Hailey is excited to meet your child and introduce them to the magic of preschool and learning! Hailey has a son in 2nd grade and a daughter in preschool. Before becoming a parent, she taught 6th grade, directed a K-6 after school program, and taught English online. Since being a parent she has helped run a neighborhood preschool co-op, volunteered as a weekly art teacher at Valley View Elementary, currently serves on the PTO and absolutely has loved it all. She graduated from Weber State University with a degree in elementary education. She and her husband will be celebrating their 11th anniversary this year. They love biking the Greenbelt, eating STIL ice cream/Chip cookies, and hiking the foothills. She *loves* the classroom atmosphere and is excited to be a part of the BCP community.
Don’t forget to meet up this coming Monday!!!

Phew! It’s been a while since I’ve posted on here, vacation flew by way too fast! I’ve got a good one for you, though! Highlighting Miss Sarah, our newest teacher at BCP!🎉🥳 Welcome Sarah, we’re so excited to have you on the team!!
Hi! My name is Sarah Jordan but all my preschoolers call me Miss Sarah. I have been teaching preschool in my home for almost 15 years and love watching young minds as they soak up knowledge. I am SO excited to be teaching one of the 3/4 classes at BCP this coming school year! My youngest daughter was a student at BCP last year and I served as the board president. We loved our experience at BCP and I really am looking forward to coming back as a teacher this year.
As you can see in my photos, I have a big family. So big I don't even have a current photo of all of us together. 😥 My husband, Matthew, and I have 8 children ranging in age from 21 - 5 years of age. We met at BYU in Provo. I graduated with a degree in English Secondary Education and he took his music degree a step further and became a board certified music therapist. He now has a music therapy company here in the Treasure Valley. We LOVE music in our house and I often joke that I have lived my whole married life in a musical.
A few more things about me? My favorite food is spaghetti. My favorite color is the deep blue of the ocean on a sunny day. I love being silly and reading mystery novels. I think the "happiest place on earth" is actually the ocean, not Disneyland! I can state this pretty certainly since I grew up close to both places. 😁 I only have 1 pet at the moment, a Beagle/Pinscher mix, but if it were up to only me every stray that crosses my path would come home to be loved by me. If I'm not washing mounds of dishes or laundry, reading in my favorite chair or creating fun lesson plans, you can find me out in my garden! This year I'm most proud of my garlic crop but the herb garden and pumpkin vines are coming along nicely.
10 things about me!
1. I love boating
2. We adore our doodle
3. Baseball fan (favorite team is the Mariners and any team my son is on)
4. Christmas is my favorite!
5. Rollerskating is my jam
6. Love shopping and home decor
7. 2 kiddos (a 7th grader and a freshman in college…eek!).
8. Fell in love with BCP when both my kiddos attended and had to go back myself! Been a part of BCP Since 2006 and an employee since 2016.
9. Favorite vacation spot: Disneyland
10. Favorite concert: New Kids on the Block
ME right now!
School starts September 6th, which means we’re over half way through the summer! How is everyone holding up?
Next up for our teacher spotlight is Ms. Lisa!! Ms. Lisa is an incredible teacher, and we can’t wait for another year with her!
🦋🌿🔬
Ms. Lisa is passionate about science, hands-on learning, and STEM based education. She believes that even the youngest members of our community can be “citizen scientists” and make important scientific contributions that help others. She has two daughters, now 11 and 14, who both attended BCP. After her own wonderful experience as a parent, she jumped at the opportunity to join the teaching staff when her youngest kiddo went to kindergarten. She loves working with preschoolers because they are naturally scientific thinkers; they are full of questions and innately use play to test the physics of the world around them!
It’s a beautiful day to enroll your child in preschool! Contact us for information or spots available! 🌞☮️🦋
I mean, I just pretend like I want to stay all day, then suddenly my kids want to leave😄
Who is going to the park tomorrow?!
11-1 at Morris Hill park. See you there!
*TEACHER SPOTLIGHT*
BCP is excited to (re)introduce Miss Tara to the teaching team! She has taught at BCP before, her first year teaching was in 2005, and she has subbed for us as recently as last year. Welcome back, Tara! Here are six fun facts, and a few fun pictures of Tara and her family.
1. I have backyard chickens
2. I love football.
3. On Thursday evenings you can find me cheering on my son and the rest of the Bishop Kelly Knights football team.
4. I have 3 children. They are all BCP Alumni
5. I have been a part of BCP since 2001. 21 Years is a long time!
6. I enjoy snowshoeing with my family.
One of our former students Cerys Mac Taggert was lost in a tragic accident. We want the MacTaggert family to know that the BCP community offers our thoughts and prayers to the family as they grieve the loss.
