Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) is offering a five-week training program in the spring of 2022 in Eastern Idaho. Applicants selected for the program will receive hands-on training in heavy equipment operating, cement masonry, welding and ironwork, and more. Applicants can also earn a free Commercial Driver’s License.

HELP PAYING FOR INTERNET ACCESS - if you get Pell Grant, you qualify!
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has launched a new program that offers a discount on internet/broadband service and equipment for low income individuals and families!
Eligibility requirements are:
* Household income at or below 135% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines or a household that participates in certain assistance programs like SNAP or Medicaid
* Household receives free or reduced school lunch program or school breakfast program
* Household received a federal Pell Grant during the current award year
* Household experienced a substantial loss of income due to job loss or furlough since February 29, 2020 and total household income is 2020 was at or below $99,000 for single filers, $198,000 for joint filers
This program money will last until 6 months after the federal government declares an end to the COVID-19 health crisis or when the money is depleted. So if you have families that are interested, they need to enroll now.
