❤️This week, our staff celebrates heartfelt ECHO moments that resonate long after the session ends. ❤️
Laura, a program coordinator, sends her love to ECHO's Counseling Techniques for Substance Use Disorders series: "The CTSUDs panelists and participants bring so much knowledge, experience and wisdom to the table - it's a really engaged group. I love that they actively help support and validate each other, too. I have a relative that struggles with addiction and the series has even helped me better understand trauma and addiction. Huge shout out to everyone who participates in CTSUD!"

Jocelyn, a program coordinator, says it best with this observation: "What better devotion is there to the ECHO community than panelists showing up every month, some of them for years, to share their knowledge? I think that's pretty great!"

From Lindsay, our marketing and communications manager: “Dr. Megan Dunay often uses poetry as part of her ‘pearls of wisdom’ to close-out COVID-19 sessions. She read Rilke’s ‘The Wait’ on 12/21/21 and it stuck with me. I love that she finds a way to share art (and humor!) in the COVID sessions.”

❤️This week, our staff celebrates heartfelt ECHO moments that resonate long after the session ends. ❤️
Jess, a program coordinator-turned-CE coordinator, recalls a Behavioral Health session from years ago: "The case review was of a patient who had lost many teeth as a result of a traumatic experience. They'd lived for decades with a broken smile; a constant reminder of the trauma.
The clinician who brought the case to ECHO helped their patient get her teeth fixed! Panelist Dr. Rachel Root spotlighted how significant this probably was for the patient, one of the biggest impacts being that it probably helped restore the patient's dignity.
I love that our healthcare professionals are aware of and strive to protect the dignity of others."

❤️This week, our staff celebrates heartfelt ECHO moments that resonate long after the session ends. ❤️
From Kayla, ECHO's most tenured program coordinator: "I love that ECHO participants can join sessions to further their knowledge and use it as a form of self-care. It is intentional time they set aside to pause, reflect, recognize the impact they are making on their patients, connect with others, and maybe even get a chance to eat!"

❤️This week, our staff celebrates heartfelt ECHO moments that resonate long after the session ends. ❤️
Here's what Sam, an ECHO program coordinator and podcast producer, thinks about the ECHO model: "I love how dynamic (ECHO) is. Ask any two people to describe it and why they come and you're bound to get different answers. Some people attend sessions to learn, others to share their expertise. Some come for the lunchtime CE, others for the chance to stay informed on the latest best practices in patient treatment. That it can be an all-in-one resource for Idaho's healthcare community is a testament to its foundation in community."

❤️This week, our staff celebrates heartfelt ECHO moments that resonate long after the session ends. ❤️
From Lachelle, ECHO Idaho's director:
"I love that these founding members of the Opioid, Pain, and Substance Use panel still find new ways to teach, learn, and inspire after nearly four years with ECHO: Todd Palmer, Cathy Oliphant, Amy Jeppesen and Brenda Hoyt."

❤️This week, our staff celebrates heartfelt ECHO moments that resonate long after the session ends. ❤️
From Lynsey, one of ECHO's program managers: "Sending big Valentine’s Day thanks to Dr. Tom Patterson, who spreads love everywhere he goes. He graciously connected us with one of his rockstar patients to make a touching video to promote the Pediatric Autism series. (Check it out here: https://rb.gy/t5jdkj).
I also appreciate that Dr. Patterson is on a mission to promote self-care. He never fails to encourage ECHO participants to practice self-care and to encourage their patients to do the same."

Assistant director, Katy, celebrates one of ECHO Idaho's series with an original poem:
Roses are red,
Violets are Blue
The Viral Hepatitis and Liver Care ECHO community
Rings the “ECHO model” true.
While the didactics are technical and cases complex
The expert panelists and community put evidence-based care and treatment into context.
On this day as we celebrate friendship, community, and gratitude
I hold appreciation for this community with great magnitude.
