Get ready Broncos! Summer's calling and so is financial aid!

We start processing awards this week for those who are already enrolled in enough financial aid-eligible credits and meet eligibility requirements. Keep an eye on your BroncoMail and Student Center for updates!

Haven't enrolled yet? No worries! You have until June 9th (midnight MT) to register for at least 6 undergrad or 5 grad credits to be considered for aid. Remember, federal loans require half-time enrollment!

Exciting news - the time has come for the first round of financial aid disbursements beginning August 12! 🎉 Keep your eyes on your Student Center for an adjustment to your balance.

Your financial and scholarships are all set to go if:

◾ You meet the minimum credit requirements for the type of aid you've accepted.

◾ Have completed all To Do List items and we've processed your FAFSA.

◾ Completed your Master Promissory Note and Loan Entrance Counseling if you are a first-time borrower.

We want to make sure your financial aid disbursement goes smoothly, so we're here to help with these steps:

1️⃣ Finalize your academic schedule as soon as possible.

2️⃣ If you're a first-time borrower, remember to complete the Master Promissory Note and Loan Entrance Counseling on StudentAid.gov.

3️⃣ Double-check that you've completed all To-Do items. Remember, the verification process might take up to 3 weeks.

4️⃣ For outside scholarships, processing times may vary based on when we receive them.

5️⃣ If you're expecting a refund, consider setting up Direct Deposit within your Student Center for faster access.

Work-study is an award that allows you to work on campus and earn a regular paycheck! The award is based on financial need as determined by the FAFSA and is a unique opportunity to learn valuable skills, gather work experience, and pay for college, all wrapped into one. 🙌
