This past weekend, we competed at the national level in Boyds, Maryland at the 7s CRC, where we placed 5th overall out of 16 teams! We went 3-1 over the weekend, competing against incredible teams and getting to experience some amazing rugby all around.
This opportunity not only challenged us on the field, but further strengthened the bond within our team. We’re incredibly grateful to have represented Boise State on the national stage and for the experience this weekend gave us.
A special shoutout to our own Aubrey Phillips, who finished as a statistics leader for D1-AA women with six conversion kicks throughout the tournament
Thank you for your continuous support, which helped us close out our 7s season on such a high note!

As we prepare for nationals at the end of April, we need your support! We are a fully self-funded team, which means traveling across the country can get expensive. Our goal is to allow our players to compete at the highest level while minimizing costs at our players’ expense. We are currently raising money to help cover these expenses—please consider donating through the link in our bio!
Your donation is tax-deductible! Thanks to a recent federal tax law update, even non-itemizers can now deduct up to $1,000 ($2,000 for couples filing jointly) for charitable contributions. Idaho filers may also be able to deduct up to $500 ($1,000 per couple) for gifts made to the Boise State University Foundation on their state taxes. Be sure to consult your tax advisor for details.
Thank you so much for your support—we can’t wait to finish this season strong!

This weekend our very own Chiara Donovan is playing for the TOA U18 team at the Tropical 7s tournament in Tampa, Florida. She will represent both BSU Women’s Rugby Club and Rugby Idaho at the next level—playing other elite teams. We are so proud of the hard work and commitment that Chiara proves day in and day out both on and off the pitch. We can’t wait to watch! Go Broncos!
