Boise State University TRIO Upward Bound is looking to fill our Educational Specialist position at Meridian High School.

This is an absolutely FUN and REWARDING career position with great flexibility and growth potential, and it is never boring! Great option for current certified teachers, counselors, social workers, coaches or anyone that enjoys helping youth reach their potential. Also, this could be a good fit for an energetic recent college graduate looking for a way to make a difference.

TRIO Upward Bound is a pre-college program that works with limited-income and first-generation high school students. We wear many hats (teacher, counselor, mentor, event coordinator, etc.)- but ultimately, our goal is to help high school students get into college and find the career of their dreams.

If you have any questions at all about the job or the program, let me know. I love talking about our history and successes. We have been motivating youth and helping provide opportunity since 1983 in the Boise area.
