🚲In honor of World Bicycle Day, we give you… preschoolers on trikes. Pedaling their way through play, confidence, and big developmental leaps.

Playdough fun! This open‑ended material can become anything in a child’s imagination. 🚗A few children brought cars to the table—and suddenly we had tracks, roads, and even cars covered in playdough. Creativity in motion.

Toddlers love painting at the easel! Big strokes, tiny strokes—every mark on that big sheet of paper is theirs. This kind of movement engages their whole arm and invites joyful, messy exploration. At The Cooperative Preschool, we celebrate play that gets a little messy.

Squeezing paint is a toddler favorite around here! Big color, big joy, and big learning. Every squeeze builds strength in little hands and gives children that proud “look what I did!” moment. Creativity + fine‑motor fun all in one.

Cloud dough magic today!

Toddlers used cars, toy plants, and all kinds of loose parts to imagine whole new worlds right on the tray in front of them. This soft, moldable material packs when you squeeze it and crumbles when you let go—perfect for sensory exploration and big imagination.

Hot glue magic!

This is one of our most-loved activities in our play‑based preschool. Because hot glue dries so quickly, children get to see their creations come to life right away. Using upcycled materials—lids, old puzzle pieces, pinecones, berry containers—they build, design, and imagine with endless creativity.

Today we wished all the best to 14 preschoolers who will be moving on to kindergarten this fall. It was a wonderful year full of growth, friendships, learning, and play! We know they are prepared for a fun summer and their next experiences!

Butterflies! 🦋
Our butterflies have finally emerged from their chrysalises, and the preschoolers were mesmerized. They welcomed their new fluttery friends with wide eyes, gentle hands, and even a few storytime readings. What a magical day in our classroom!
