This unique art contest/arts awareness initiative welcomes all artists to compete for $43,000 in prize money. Grand Prize will receive $12,000, 2nd Place will win $6,000, 3rd Place get $3,000 and 4th Place will take home $1,500, while 17 Best in Show winners will receive $1,000 each!
Art & Soul of the Magic Valley, the Northwest's largest cash-prize awarding public-vote art contest, features over 300 artists from across the globe. Art & Soul will take place in the businesses and public spaces from April 10-25, 2020 in Twin Falls, Idaho.

Just finished Sue's two day Intro to Welding workshop. I enjoyed the experience greatly. Well organized presentation of information, and hands on experience on several metal working tools. The location of the workshop was easy to find. The class size of 8 students allowed access to tools, 1 to 1 instruction with feedback and was a very positive learning environment. I would heartedly recommend this experience with Sue to anyone and everyone.

The Intro to Welding workshop on Feb 18/19 was great Sue! Thanks for the great instruction and all of that patience. I learned more than expected and really loved the hands-on experience.
The Sculpture Studio offers Hands-On 3D workshops in a variety of disciplines. The Sculpture Studio has 1300 sq. ft.
of workspace with facilities for woodworking, welding, metal finishing, resin casting, paper casting and probably some other stuff.

A couple weeks ago I was ready to pack it in and give up… I was sure I wasn’t going to be able to find another studio space. The next morning I got up and sent a Hail Mary offer to the building owner and they accepted..!!! Yesterday we got the keys..!!! 🎉🎉🎉 Just goes to show, you have to ask for what you want, and ask, and then ask again!
Now the hard work starts…building The Sculpture Studio 3.0 at 17th and Main St. (used to be Rock Hard Granite) probably the last warehouse space in Boise..?

Thought I would show a trick I’ve figured out along the way. Someone out there might be able to use this…?!? Sealing the image in the frame with rubber so I can pour resin on the other side. I use the waste from previous pours to make walls. Trying to reuse/ not waste the rubber since it’s gotten VERY expensive in the last year.
