GET READY!! DECA Delights officially opens this upcoming Monday!

The donations have started pouring in for Make-A-Wish and these Capital teams are crushing it! A big thank you to our Girls Soccer Team, Swim Team, Cross Country, and Volleyball!

Sam is an energetic 9 year old boy, who recently finished his last treatment of chemotherapy. Sam was diagnosed with cancer 2.5 years ago and has had a tough couple of years. Currently he is doing really well and has wished for his family to travel to Disneyworld! That’s where you come in Capital. Let’s help grant Sam’s wish and other kids like him.

How can you help? Consider donating to our online donation page:

DECA will be selling stars for a $1, from now until February 10th, when we wrap things up with our annual Make-A-Wish assembly. At the assembly we’ll celebrate Sam, do a miracle minute, and do everything we can to make him feel special. Start saving that change Capital!

A special thanks to the students, staff, and DECA members at CHS! We partnered with the Women’s and Children’s Alliance to do a holiday drive.

The giving vibes are strong this year and our school really knew how to show up! Look at how much we were able to give to an amazing cause! Diapers, toiletries, snow clothes, professional clothing, book, toys, gift cards and so much more. From the bottom of our hearts, Thank you!

The class who brings the most money for the change drive on Friday, will win a donut party!! 2nd period class competition.
Empty those pockets, piggy banks, and look under those couches.
Let's make Hazel's wish come true!

Capital Parents and Families,

Meet Hazel! Capital’s 2020-21 Make-A-Wish kid. She is currently in remission from a cancer she battled at the age of 18 months, and will continue to have a tough road ahead of her.

Last summer her and her family went camping and she fell in love with the outdoors. Her wish is for a camper so she can enjoy camping at a moment’s notice.

In the past fourteen years our Capital community has raised over $50,000 for Make-A-Wish. We need your help to keep the tradition alive and strong. Please consider donating to Hazel and other critically ill kids.

Help us spread the word! Share with a friend and help make Hazel's wish come true!

Hazel is Capital's 2021 Make-A-Wish kid! She is a four year old sweetie whose wish is to have a camper for her family to safely see the world. Help make her wish come true and learn more about Hazel on our online donation page.

Every dollar helps make wishes come true for Hazel and other kids like her. Thank you!

Motivate your Monday ~ Everyone is pushed with the narrative to constantly be finishing goals. It’s important to remember that sometimes- trying is the most important first step. Make it better as you go! Happy Monday Eagles!

DECA is an awesome group with amazing people, we do so many fun activities such as Make-A-Wish, The Daddy-Daughter Dance, Competition and we even do a fun trip to Wahooz each year. Come join our big family.

FUN FACT! If you take the first two years of marketing, you don't have to take Economics as a senior. See Mrs. Fenwick or your counselor for more information on how to register. Just another reason to love Capital's marketing program!

Hey Eagles! Some of you may not be aware Capital has a student run snack store! The DECA Delights store is run by marketing students who want the opportunity to gain experience for future jobs. For the past few months, we’ve been planning a new menu and ways to keep students safe while purchasing from the store. Look for updates in the coming weeks for dates and times of when we will be open.

Don’t forget to take advantage of the new year! Keep up the good work Eagles!🦅
