May all of your days be merry and bright!
Wishing everyone a happy and healthy holiday season from all of us at Idaho Music Academy.

Have a happy and safe Thanksgiving!

Idaho Music Academy at 1505 Tyrell Lane in Boise is so pleased to be offering in person lessons in such a beautiful and safe environment! All of our amazing instructors are professional, caring, and provide instruction in accordance with the most current and safest CDC guidelines.
We continue to look forward to promoting artistic excellence as we always have in a supportive and safe setting.

[06/10/20]   Our summer lessons are off to a great start!
The space is clean, orderly, and organized, and the music is sounding so good.
While many students have returned to in-person lessons, we are still offering online lessons too. Let's make 2020 better with our musical super powers!

Here are the guidelines:
The Idaho Music Academy has a plan in place for resuming in-person lessons beginning on Monday, May 4th, 2020. By following the CDC guidelines and the recommendations from the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare, we will be instituting the following protocols:

*There will be signs posted at the designated entry and exits with social distancing marked on the sidewalk.
*There can be no waiting in the waiting areas inside the building.
*Students and parents may wait in their car until texted by their instructor that they may meet the instructor at the entry.
*No more than 3 people in a studio at a time to ensure proper social distancing.
*Students will be escorted in with the instructor and stop in the hallway handwashing station to wash hands before their lesson.
*After the lesson, all keyboards, door knobs, light switches, and other touch points will be cleaned with sanitizer.
*Each student will be escorted to the handwashing station to wash their hands with their instructor.
*Each student will be escorted to the exit (the recital hall door) with the instructor to meet their parents at the marked social distance.
*Instructors will wash hands between students as well.
*Instructors will open doors for students so that there is minimal touch of door handles.

— — —

tl/dr: Wait in your car until your instructor texts you because we can’t wait in the waiting rooms yet, then come in. We’ll wash our hands, have our lesson, wash our hands, and then you go home. 🙂 Entry will be through the regular studio entrance and exit will be out the recital hall doors.

We have the best teachers/mentors/coaches!

Call today to schedule:

[05/12/18]   If you're headed to Idaho Music Academy on Saturday, May 12th, please be aware that traffic will not be able to access Parkcenter Blvd during the Race For The Cure.

Access will be from Broadway Avenue only:
Go to Broadway Avenue. If you're coming from East Boise, use Boise Avenue or Warm Springs Avenue to get to Broadway. Turn EAST onto Highland Street off of Broadway Avenue. There is a Tate's Rents on the SE corner and Taco Bell on the the NE corner. Go all the way down Highland until you see the "dead end" signs. You will see Mallard Drive on your left (north). Turn left onto Mallard Drive and follow it all the way until you're almost back to Parkcenter. You can turn right on to Tyrell at this point - just be aware that you can park at the east end of the lot and then walk the short distance to the Academy. If possible, you can go a little further on Mallard and take the next right into the parking lot for Idaho Pizza Company and then meander along the front of Sage School until you arrive in the parking lots for Idaho Music Academy. 🎶
