I love that this page is staying in contact with the followers, even on the smallest of holidays. I think showing everyone your still active is the best way to stay in-contact with having face-to-face contact. In these times of social distancing, I've been using my free time to find a new source for independent films. While most site were helpful for 1 or 2 films, the most exciting site to use was Film Festival Flix. The site was so interesting because it streams a bunch of independent film while also playing host to multiple virtual film festivals. I recently used the site to watch the film "Wrong", which is possibly one of the best absurdist films from the past decade. This seems like a stretch until you find out the director is the same director of the movie "Rubber", which is one of the best absurdist, horror comedies of the last decade. I loved finding this out, especially since the site provided this information with the film. Are there any other films from Film Festival Flix I should look at next? Feel free to reach out!!
Its so inspiring to see a school that works on building hands on experience for its students! As a fellow student and tech nerd, I thought it would be beneficial to share some info on this new sci-fi thriller that emphasizes dangers of a new and growing industry, Virtual Reality! I have to commend the cinematographer, Darin Quan, for his choice to use extreme close-ups and dutch angles to highlight the emotion and tension in the scenes. A cool movie to watch if you're looking to take a break from studying! The trailer's on Youtube and watch out for the VOD release on September 24th!
