Dear everyone who has been watching this space and waiting for Maker Space Manager to arrive.
I PROMISE, it's coming soon.
I KNOW, that it is much better now than it would have been had we gone with the original release candidate.
I HOPE you will think it's worth the wait too.
I AM, more excited about this project than ever.
YES it is still FREE and will have an open-source code.
I WILL be making a big announcement about MSM in the next few weeks.
I DREAM you will all use Maker Space Manager to share the joy and wonder of making with even more people.
WE ARE an amazing community made up of awesome people, doing fantastic things that I am proud to be part of.
I'M GRATEFUL to be able to give back to a community that has allowed me to grow so much.
Hang tight. You'll be happy you did.

This little sewing machine was handed down to a student over the holidays. At the MILL we were able to help teach the student how to use it and 3D model and print the missing bobbin cover plate.

It's like the census, but for makerspaces ;) Make sure you get counted!

The Annual Survey of Makerspaces is an annual point-in-time snapshot of the inner workings and impact of makerspaces across the United States. This longitudinal data set enables maker organizations to access the information needed to apply for funding, make strategic decisions, and share the compelling story of the impact that the maker movement is having on communities, locally and nationally. Following a hiatus during 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are pleased to be administering the 2021 survey - live now through March 31, 2022 -

The Annual Survey is administered in three versions determined by the role of the survey respondent:

The MEMBER Survey should be completed by anyone who participates in activities at a makerspace.

The LEADERSHIP Survey should be completed by anyone who considers themselves a leader within a maker organization. This could be a shop captain or teacher, Board Member, or someone who is on paid staff.

The ECONOMIES Survey should be filled out only once for each makerspace, and it should be filled out by a leader in the makerspace who has access to operations information.

What are you waiting for? Quantify your impact today. Learn more at:
