Boise State University alum Andie Kelly, a graphic designer, illustrator and muralist for hire, represented Bronco Nation last week during Treefort Music Fest in downtown Boise. While a student, Andie worked in Boise Stateβs on-campus sign shop through Printing and Graphic Services, where she gained hands on experience with lettering, branding, graphic design, and the notorious Boise State brand.
The art mural was commissioned by Boise State Alumni and Friends to illustrate the universityβs community partnership and fandom of the annual music/arts/tech/culture festival that countless Boise State students, employees and alumni are involved with.
Great work, Andie!
The Boise State University campus is expanding again with the new $4 million ESI Building for Construction Management, named for the Meridian-based construction company co-owned by Boise State and Construction Management alumnus Neil Nelson (β94). Thanks to a lead gift of $2 million, the ESI Building for Construction Management naming will honor ESIβs vision and commitment to the Department of Construction Management and guarantee that the next generation of construction management graduates has the facility needed to provide continued innovation and discovery opportunities.
βConstruction Management is an exciting program that offers students a chance to shape the future βquite literally. Our student growth in the program has boomed and will help meet the demand in our state,β said Dr. Marlene Tromp, Boise State President. βWith ESI Constructionβs invaluable support and this state-of-the-art facility, we will expand opportunities for our students and for our state, preparing more people to enter a field that advances the wellbeing of Idaho.β
The 12,000-square-foot, multi-level building provides students with expanded laboratory structures, state-of-the-art learning environments, a 45-seat computer and construction technology classroom, and new high bay structures for enhanced exterior lab activities.
In the past four years, the program saw a 50% increase in student growth. The new facility will provide a showcase for the construction industry and Boise State.

Goodbye winter, hello spring π·
Idaho Botanical Garden was founded more than 35 years ago and is a favorite of locals and visitors, year round. It is home to more than 400,000 plant species, 12 specialty horticultural collections, stunning artworks, youth camps, classes for all ages, concerts, and seasonal events including the magical Winter Garden aGlow.
While a student at Boise State, Erin Anderson (BS, Political Science, 2002), executive director of Idaho Botanical Garden, discovered a passion working for greater causes through her time with ASBSU. The camaraderie of her peers and the opportunity to defend shared views made her educational experience more meaningful, Anderson said.
With Anderson's vision and leadership, Idaho Botanical Garden builds community, fosters connection and makes nature accessible. The benefits of being outdoors in nature are prevalent at the garden; nature has stress-relieving benefits.
βBeing surrounded by the beauty of the space is invigorating," Anderson said. "We are very proud of our work in helping our community come together, feel a little less isolated, and through nature, reduce stress in a very stressful time.β

Hi,
Best Internships in USA University
About 73% of Boise State University students are Idaho residents, and nearly three-quarters of them rely on some form of financial aid.
Boise Stateβs True Blue Promise Scholarship and the Presidentβs True Blue Endowed Scholarship provide four-year scholarships for Idaho residents. Ensuring that great potential is not left unrealized because of an inability to bear the cost of a university education aligns with Boise Stateβs vision of access for students.

Boise State University is a veritable who's who when it comes to raptor research, conservation and student experience. Raptors, including owls, use powerful, sharp talons to capture their prey and to defend themselves. Our Raptor Research Center is home to the only Master of Science in Raptor Biology program in the country, providing access to hands-on fieldwork with birds of prey and the habitats in which they occupy.
South of Boise State's campus one can find the largest concentration of nesting raptors in North America β the Morley Nelson Snake River Birds of Prey National Conservation Area offers a unique resource for the study of raptor biology and ecology for undergraduate and graduate students, and world-class researchers, alike.
