“A teacher must be able to see the child as Jesus saw him.” - Maria Montessori, The Spiritual Training of a Teacher

May we daily strive to serve the children we receive at Immaculata with this ideal ever before us.

Can you guess who spilled the bowl of beads? Hint: The child is out of camera shot also picking up beads, and in our environment no one asks why or who. Instead we see someone in need of help and gladly assist.

“As a consequence of free choice very special social sentiments emerge. One of them is the help that the child renders to others. One child helps another child only if there is a real need for it… The child instinctively knows when help should be given and when it should not.”

Another great first day of Catholic Montessori in the Diocese of Boise!🤩

In front of the Blessed Sacrament Maria Montessori made this vow in 1910, together with her first followers. May we likewise pledge our work for the Kingdom as follows:

"Before the majesty of God I desire to consecrate myself to the service of the Catholic Church, offering myself as a holocaust to Jesus Christ our Lord. I desire to follow the path of His divine will, embracing my sweet cross with the intention so truly to live that, if it be His will, the Church of Christ, in a reformed humanity, may triumph midst the splendors of civilization."

Stella Maris, Star of the Sea, pray for us.

“The Apostles were left inspired, and they began speaking in all manner of languages, with fiery speeches that rocked the world to its foundations…. On the day of Pentecost the hand has been put to a work that is effective, militant, and infinitely fecund, working to bring about the result of a universal triumph: the Church of Christ.”

- Dr. Maria Montessori “Pentecost”🔥

Happy Birthday to the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostlic Church! 🎂
