The devotees at ISKCON Tri Central Valley in San Jose, California who attended the seminar openly and courageously shared their challenges with public school. Issues in these schools include drugs, bullying, and pressure around s*x. Parents are desperately seeking ways to make their children internally strong through the practice of chanting and reading Srimad Bhagavatam.
20 sets of our guide books (Cantos 1-6) were distributed.

Coyhaique is a city in Chile's Aysén Region, known as a gateway to remote parts of Patagonia. Here Kamala Nandini Dasi and her husband share Krishna consciousness in this southern part of Chile. Their house is in the middle of a forest with limited electricity and amenities. Devotees and friends enthusiastically engaged in the seminar.

A Road Less Travelled
These are devotees and friends of ISKCON attending my The Art of Krishna Conscious Parenting seminar at Pucon, Chile and Coy.
Nestled in the Andean foothills on the shores of Lake Villarrica, it has a mix of volcanoes and temperate rainforest. The devotees here don’t get too many visitors who come to share their experience of Krishna consciousness so they were very appreciative.

You’re invited to join this conversation. Here are some questions parents asked regarding adolescence:
1. How can we support teenagers so that spiritual practices have personal meaning beyond family habit, especially during their search for identity?
2. How can I involve my daughter in spiritual practice without forcing her, encourage consistency in herbehavior, and support her transition into adolescence(14 years old)?
3. How can we balance love, guidance, and discipline when raising teenagers, including issues like sleep and screen use?

As promised, here are some of the questions from my recent South American tour. I’d like to start I conversation where you can offer answers to the questions below or ask new questions.
Spirituality in Parenting
1. How can we face the challenge of raising children without a nearby Vaishnava community, especially during adolescence?
2. As parents, what are the key tools or knowledge needed to support our children’s spiritual growth?
3. How can we explain to a young child (4 years old) what good spiritual association (sanga)
4. How can we cultivate a natural and loving connection with Krishna in our children, without passing on our own struggles?
5. How can we support a teenage girl (15 years old) in developing Krishna consciousness? What tools can help motivate her?
6. How can spirituality be introduced appropriately during adolescence?
7. How can we spiritually educate children who are not familiar with Krishna, breaking traditional paradigms?
8. How can we motivate teenagers to engage in devotional service without them perceiving it as an imposition?

I recently completed a tour of South America. The first poster was for a seminar entitled: Homeschool with Purpose: upbringing and education from consciousness.
The seminar at Pucón, Chile has about 50 people attend. The audience was vibrant with a lot of questions. About 25 Spanish “Homeschooling Krishna’s Children” were sold.
55 Devotees attended the seminar from Buenos Aires and other parts of Argentina. The participants asked many questions, which led to a follow-up 2 hour session.
I will be sharing these questions in the coming weeks and you are invited to offer your experience and further comment or ask me more.

Homeschooling Krishna’s Children in Spanish; originally published by North European BBT.
Review by His Holiness Sivaram Swami
I have personally attended Aruddhā Devī Dāsī’s course on home schooling Kṛṣṇa’s children and consider that it is one of the most important contributions in establishing the social stability and spiritual integrity of ISKCON, which for the most part depends upon the Kṛṣṇa consciousness of its children. Her course gives both techniques and inspiration for any parent to simultaneously educate and deliver Kṛṣṇa to their children.
