ILA STARR MEGAN-How it Began

In 2006, 1-yr-old Ila Hanson was forcibly removed from her home & wrongly put up for adoption by the state of idaho. Last seen by birthmom in Boise ID '08.

Ila Starr was born January 21st, 2005. Her parents, Bradi & James, were excited new parents who loved their little girl with all of their hearts. In February, 2006, the State of Idaho forcibly removed Ila from her parents on hearsay evidence that there were drugs in the home. A search conducted produced only a broken ma*****na b**g that didn't even belong to the family. It was found in a backpac

k of a guest that was staying on Bradi & James' couch. As many parents often do, Bradi & James cooperated with the Idaho Department of Child Protection, and did everything that was asked of them. After a several years of supervision of CPS, with Ila in Foster Care, the department began to decrease the visits with Ila, severing the bond between Bradi, James and their baby girl. Despite their objections, and no actual evidence of a risk of harm, an Idaho judge ruled to terminate Bradi & James' parental rights, citing conflict in the extended family as a reason to adopt out their child. Ila Starr was last seen by her parents in the beginning of 2008, at a supervised visit in Boise, Idaho. She was only 3 years old. Since then, Ila's mother, Bradi, has learned about the Adoption and Safe Families Act of 1997, which created financial adoption incentives for the States to receive a CASH BONUS for the adoptions done from foster care. Bradi believes that she is a victim of forced adoption in the interest of using her child as currency for the State of Idaho to receive federal funding. And she wants her baby back in her life. Ila Starr is now 10 years old, but no one knows how to find her because Idaho's adoption records are closed to even the birth parents and adopted children. The Search for Ila Starr is an attempt to raise awareness of the financially driven forced adoptions being done under the guise of Child Protection, in Idaho and around the nation. As well as a way for Ila Starr to find her family as she grows up. Even in consensual adoptions, adopted children often face feelings of abandonment and loss of identity. But Ila Starr WAS NOT ABANDONED. She is still very much wanted by her biological family, and her parents will never give up the search for her return. No matter how long it takes.

This is your Uncle BoeBoe, he says you look like Cindy LooHoo from dr. Seuss, and he took me to see TOOL for Christmas. i think it's supposed to be criminal for 2 oldies, but goodies, to have that much fun! 2 grown wildebeest out on the loose unsupervised! Worth it!
