Alpha Sigma Alpha at Boise State

Our Woman of Poise and Purpose for the month of January is Sydney Cato!

Sydney is a Marketing major with an entrepreneurship minor.

Sydney’s Why ASA, “I love ASA because of how genuine everyone is! It has brought me some of my best friends and I couldn’t be more thankful. I never thought I would be able to make such good friendships through a sorority but I have been so so surprised by how funny, kind, and just lovely these girls are. These are women that know how to support and cheerlead others well! I love every opportunity ASA has brought me and just adore how unique our chapter is.”

Audrey Saba nominated Sydney because “Sydney always lights up a room! She has been working so hard in her new position while also serving others! I know she serves as a good example and sister to the rest of the chapter. I am so thankful to have Sydney in my life!”

Stella Baron nominated Sydney because “Sydney is one of the kindest people you will ever meet! Beyond just being a great friend, she is someone who leads by example. She truly is an amazing human to look up to and makes people feel so seen. She is the kind of person who celebrates your victories like they’re her own and stands by you during the tough times. Her strength, compassion, and positivity inspires me everyday. I am so lucky to have met her and feel so grateful to be her little :) love you syd!!!”

Kylie Mcfayden nominated Sydney because “Sydney has a heart of gold! she lights up every room she walks into, and genuinely cares for each and everyone she talks to. She’s the definition of poise and purpose, and makes ASA the way it is!”

Sydney is so deserving and has done so well in her position as VP of Communications thus far. We are so lucky to have such an amazing woman in our chapter!! ♥️

To our beloved seniors, thank you for all the amazing memories, guidance, life long sisterhood, and being role models for our chapter. We know you are all going to do amazing things and we cannot wait to see you flourish in the future! Congratulations on closing this chapter in your life and taking on the next. No matter where life takes you, you will always have your sisters by your side.
