How do you feel about the different boundaries you have in your life right now?🤔

If you’re an empath or HSP, you’re probably very susceptible to other people’s feelings, so it might be hard not to feel responsible for everyone around you…

📣But the truth is that you don’t have to walk around feeling drained of energy all the time!

⬇️There are a few different types of boundaries you can put in place, and they make SUCH a difference.

1️⃣Physical boundaries: taking care of yourself physically by eating well, getting enough rest, and moving your body, taking alone time, physically distancing yourself from people who drain your energy

2️⃣Mental boundaries: noticing your thoughts and refocusing when you start to go down a negative spiral, limiting time spent on social media, noticing what you’re consuming (books, TV, social media, socializing with friends) and if it makes you feel good

3️⃣Emotional boundaries: taking responsibility for your OWN emotions, setting yourself up for success by avoiding emotional triggers, not always making yourself responsible for the feelings of everyone around you (empaths absorb other people’s emotions, so learning to detach is important)

4️⃣Energetic boundaries: using meditation to clear your aura and energetic field, and using visualization to shield and protect yourself

🚫Being sensitive doesn’t mean you can’t learn to set boundaries. If anything, it makes them more important!

And the great news is that ALL of these can be learned.🎉🎉

One of my favorite questions to ask my clients is: ⬇️

“If your future self were standing in front of you right now, what would she say to you?”

This can be an INCREDIBLY powerful question, because it makes you stop and think about the version of you that you want to be. 🔥

Your strongest self.
Your most empowered self.
Your inner warrior.

👉🏼How would she act?
👉🏼What would she say?
👉🏼What does she have in her life that you right NOW are wanting, and how did she get there?

I’ve asked this question many times; when someone is struggling with a decision, or when they’re unsure of what direction they want to take, or what to do in a situation…

And you know what? They ALWAYS come up with an answer.

Because when you take the time to dig deep, you really do KNOW what you need. Deep down, you know what’s right for you, and what isn’t.

Sometimes it just takes the right question, the right space, and powerful support to bring it out.

So if you’re currently struggling with something, ask yourself: “if my future self were here with me right now, what would she do in this situation?”

Trust yourself - you’ve got this. ❤️

“Overwhelmed” is just a feeling, not a circumstance. 😮‍💨 And don’t get me wrong - it’s a very VALID feeling.

I’ll be honest - this month has been extremely busy for me. And the past version of me probably would have been deep in overwhelm by now…

I’ve been traveling a lot, visiting family, and doing my very best to balance my business, my work, and my personal life. ⚖️ It’s been a lot.

But it’s times like these when I get to use the skills and tools I’ve learned over the years! Such as: managing my mindset. 😉

I’m human. I experience anxiety, worry, fear, and yes, of course overwhelm.

👉🏼But that’s just it - you can EXPERIENCE a feeling without letting it become you.

👉🏼You can feel overwhelmed, but choose not to DWELL in overwhelm.

And it starts with awareness. 👀 Have you been repeating thoughts like “omg I’m so overwhelmed right now!” over and over?

Or maybe you keep thinking, “my life is just so overwhelming!”

If you are - no shame, I get it, but let’s change that! Start with ONE thing at a time.

🔥What’s ONE thing that would help you feel better right now?
🔥What’s ONE thing you could take off your plate?
🔥What’s ONE small step you could take today, that would make your life just a little easier tomorrow?

And just to be clear, your situation or circumstances can 💯 be overwhelming. I’m not denying that.

BUT - it’s sooo much more helpful to focus on YOU and your power, than it is to focus on the thing that’s making you feel powerless.

So instead of thinking “it’s the situation or person’s fault that I’m living in overwhelm” switch it to ➡️ “yeah, this isn’t working so what can I do about this thing that’s causing me to feel overwhelmed?”

Take your power back. 🔥 Go from feeling helpless, to focusing on what you can control.

This is something that’s come up with pretty much *all* of my clients at some point. But ending overwhelm is totally possible!

Deep breath, we’ve got this. One step at a time. 💪🏻💪🏽💪🏾

What does empowerment mean to you? Strength, motivation, peace, power… I want you to be able to feel it all. 💪🏼💪🏽💪🏾

And this is what I strive for when I work with each of my clients. Because I believe you already have your own answers! Even if it doesn’t feel like it, you’re 💯 capable of achieving your goals. You’re capable and worthy of happiness, love, success, & peace.

Let me give you some insight on how to begin.👇🏼Here’s what I focus on when I coach my clients:

1️⃣MINDSET. The way you think and what you believe, influences your whole life. So this means it makes a HUGE difference when you’re going after your goals. Mindset includes:
✨how you view the world
✨how you view other people
✨what you think about yourself
✨the way you approach situations
✨how you respond to problems and challenges

2️⃣ENERGY. What I mean by energy is:
🍃how you’re showing up in the world
🍃how you take care of yourself physically
🍃how you take care of yourself mentally and emotionally
🍃and if you’re an empath or HSP, how you’re protecting yourself from other people’s energy and emotions

3️⃣ACTION. Because, feeling personally empowered is both an inside AND an outside job. Meaning, your mindset & energy are important but you have to also make sure that your outer world reflects it. This could be:
🔥setting physical boundaries with people
🔥getting clear on your goal & taking the first step towards it
🔥learning a new skill that will help you feel better
🔥asking for help/investing in yourself
🔥taking steps to break a habit or implement a new one

As a coach, it’s my job to give you a safe space to bring your struggles, point out patterns I’m hearing, & help you find solutions. I support you and hold you accountable.

Having an outside perspective has a HUGE impact, but you can start doing this yourself, too.

Get curious! What step could you take today that would help you feel empowered to conquer your life? 💭

You decide, my friend. 🔥You get to choose what to believe. And from that belief, you can make things happen.

That’s one of the biggest things I help my clients with: challenging their thoughts and beliefs! Because so often we’re getting in our own way and don’t even know it.

👉🏼If you don’t believe you’ll ever be able to make more $$, you might be unintentionally closing yourself off to opportunities. 😬

👉🏼If you think you’re too sensitive to be a good leader, you might never give yourself the chance to try. (P.S. empaths actually make great leaders!)

👉🏼If you believe overthinking is just part of who you are and won’t ever change, you might be so attached to that identity that you subconsciously WANT to keep doing it and be in that cycle of worry. 😳 (Yep, this one got me too!)

But you can choose to learn, to grow, to open yourself up to possibilities.. and that’s when the magic happens!!

A lot of the time, we’re more capable than we give ourselves credit for. 😘

So what would happen if instead of focusing on what you’re afraid of, you tried focusing on the belief in what’s POSSIBLE for you?

Thank you to all the women who came before us and fought for a better future.

Thank you to all the women who are out there doing their best and showing up, every single day.

I’m so freaking grateful and PROUD to have so many strong, amazing women in my life.

Celebrating each one of you today. ❤️

What kind of things do you think about yourself? 👀 In the past, I would have thoughts like:

🚫I'll never be successful.
🚫I will always struggle with my weight and never be attractive enough.
🚫I’m bad at love and better off alone.
🚫Money makes people greedy and shallow.
🚫I’m just not good at tech stuff and that’s never going to change.
🚫I’m not smart enough to run my own business.
🚫I’ll always be the “odd one out” and nobody will ever understand me.

If you’re having any thoughts like this, ask yourself if they are actually TRUE. Because you know what? You don’t have to believe everything you think.

That's the beauty of your brain. It's NEVER too late to start changing the way you think. 🧠

Every one of us can create new beliefs and literally form new neural pathways in our brain!!

And if you change your thinking ➡️ you change your behavior ➡️ which can change the results you have in your life.

You have the power to choose NOT to believe those doubts and stories you’ve been told or have been telling yourself your whole life. 🙅🏻‍♀️

It might take some practice. It might take some guidance and asking for help.

But your thought patterns make a difference.

Because allllll those negative thoughts I used to have every day were serving me nothing but frustration and shame. They were keeping me stuck, resentful, and unhappy.

So one by one, I learned how to improve my mindset and rewrite those negative stories going on in my head. 📝

And this is something I now work with my clients on ALL THE TIME. Because very often we can't see our own patterns and things that are holding us back.

And change starts with awareness. 🔥

So ask yourself: are the things I believe about myself getting in the way of what I want?
