What an amazing end to our year. We have worked hard all year. This week we were honored for our work, and then got to play hard.
7 students went to the FCCLA National Leadership Conference in Orlando, FL. 1 Skills Demonstration, 2 State Officers, and 5 STAR event competitors.
All 5 STAR Project competitors scored in the top 10 for the nation.
Bensen - Sustainability = 8th in the nation
Nora - Fashion Construction = 6th in the nation
Lydia & Kohen - Chapter in Review Display = 6th in the nation, and
Hannah - Nutrition and Wellness = 4th in the nation!!

Day one in the books! Claire competed already, our two state Officers, Makaela and Hannah, helped lead the Idaho meeting, and Bensen got his picture with one of our opening ceremonies guest speakers, Optimus Prime!
Exhausting day, but we get to do it all again tomorrow!

Call for Public Art! - Do you want to see your art displayed in the Community?
The Kuna Arts Commission is seeking applications from artists for a power box mural. One artist or artist team will be commissioned for an original artwork to be painted on the power box which sits behind Kuna City Hall on the Green Belt along Indian Creek. This is a scenic location that experiences high levels of foot traffic in
the spring and summer time.
The project has a $2,000 budget for a bright and eye-catching mural. Artists of all disciplines are welcome to apply. Local artists are strongly encouraged to apply. Submit your application by July 1st, 2025 to have the opportunity to share your art with Kuna!
